Sometimes no matter how much time you’ve put into planning your Disney World vacation and how well prepared you think you might be, there are unforeseen setbacks that can pop out of nowhere!
We try our best to make sure you’ve got all the information you need to have a successful Disney trip, and that includes preparing for the worst. Situations like Florida’s unpredictable weather and even minor medical mishaps can leave you in a potential pickle — which no one wants. So, we’ve put together a list of items you might want to stash in your suitcase or park bag in case of emergencies!
We’ve broken up our must-have emergency item list into three different types of emergencies you might have while in Disney World: weather, medical, and miscellaneous emergencies. And as a bonus, all of these items are available on Amazon. Let’s take a look!
Weather Emergencies
For starters, be prepared for rain. You seriously never know when you’re going to be hit by an unexpected Florida shower.
We’ve said it before, but Florida weather can be SO unpredictable — it can go from sunshine to storm almost without warning! Don’t let the rain stop you from exploring the parks. These Frogg Toggs Ultra-Lite Ponchos are lightweight, reusable, and fold up for easy stashing in your park bag.
And, they’re currently on sale for $12.99!

In case of rain or you DO get wet while at Disney World, it’s always a good call to have some Ziploc Grip ‘n Seal Freezer Bags in your arsenal.
Whether it’s to stash your sopping wet socks from when you accidentally stepped in a puddle, or to protect your phone from any potential storms — these are always in our park bag. Get a package of 75 quart-sized Ziploc bags for $9.19.

Medical Emergencies
Luckily, each Disney park has a First Aid Station for minor emergencies like bumps and bruises. But, you’re going to be walking a lot in Disney World and if you’re not used to it (or even if you are!) your feet can be sore and tired by the time you get back to your hotel room.
For sore feet and any other pain, you might want to consider tossing a pain reliever like ibuprofen or acetaminophen in your bag — we like these Advil Liqui-Gels.
They’re $19.98 and can be a lifesaver at the end of a long day.

Sore muscles and aches can creep up on you by the end of the day, too. If you’re feeling a little sore, having a cooling balm like Icy Hot can really work in a pinch!
Get 2.5 fluid ounces for $5.98.Â

If you’re visiting Disney World during allergy season, you’ll probably want to have an antihistamine on hand in case of unforeseen allergies!
You can get a 100-count bottle from Amazon Basics for $3.50.

For when you unexpectedly get your period, having a stash of your preferred period products is absolutely essential! This variety pack of Tampax Radiant Tampons is $39.99 and comes with enough to keep some in your hotel room and your park bag.
Don’t get caught off-guard and poof into a giant, 8-foot red panda on your next Disney trip!

It gets HOT in Disney World, and it can be easy to lose track of how much (or how little) water you’re drinking. If you feel like you might be getting dehydrated, having some electrolyte packs on hand like Liquid IV can really come in handy.
This 16-pack is $23.74 and passion fruit flavored but they come in a variety of different flavors, and they’re super easy to toss in your park bag!
