Character meet and greets are BACK, baby!

Okay, maybe they’ve been back for a while, but April 18, 2022 marked the first day that TRADITIONAL character meet and greets have returned — without the social distancing. You can get back to the hugs, high fives, and autographs with your Disney pals. But which meet and greets are back and which are still missing? Let’s take a look at the COMPLETE list of traditional character meet and greets in Disney World.

Magic Kingdom

Currently, the My Disney Experience app has a pretty big list of characters available for traditional character meet and greets, but keep in mind that you may see additional characters around the parks, too. The meet and greets that have returned to regular operation (we’re talking a regular schedule, hugs, and autographs; the whole shebang) or have since debuted in Magic Kingdom are…

• Mickey Mouse at Town Square Theater
• Snow White or Mulan on the Town Square Theater Porch
• Cinderella at Princess Fairytale Hall
• Elena of Avalor at Princess Fairytale Hall
• Rapunzel at Princess Fairytale Hall
• Tiana at Princess Fairytale Hall
• Captain Jack Sparrow in Adventureland
• Cinderella’s Stepsisters, Anastasia and Drizella, in Fantasyland* (*You may also find them at the Liberty Square Gazebo)
• Chip ‘n Dale in Frontierland
• Aladdin and Jasmine at Agrabah Bazaar
• Peter Pan in Fantasyland
• Merida at the Liberty Square Enchanted Glade Gazebo

While this is not a traditional Meet-and-Greet, it’s still a WONDERFUL character experience with a photo opportunity as a part of it: Enchanted Tales with Belle!

You can still spot the following characters at a distance in Magic Kingdom:

• Stitch makes unique roaming appearances in Tomorrowland

EPCOT

The meet and greets that have returned to regular operation in EPCOT are…

• Donald Duck at Donald’s Dino-Bash
• Chip ‘n’ Dale at Donald’s Dino-Bash
• Daisy Duck at Donald’s Dino-Bash
• Goofy at Donald’s Dino-Bash (on occasion)
• Pocahontas located towards the Discovery Island bridge (on occasion)
• Russell from Up
• Dug from Up

You may also catch Kevin roaming around DinoLand, U.S.A., though there is no official meet and greet schedule available for her at this time.

Additionally, some meet and greets have yet to be announced as returning. We’ll be keeping an eye out for news about these beloved characters returning:

• In Magic Kingdom — Alice at Mad Tea Party, Gaston in Fantasyland, Mary Poppins in Liberty Square, Tinker Bell at Town Square Theater
