Being a Disney Vacation Club Member comes with its share of perks.
Members can get discounts on dining, access to tons of exclusive merchandise, special events, ride previews, exclusive lounges, and more. One of those perks has been missing for a while, but that perk will come back soon!
The Top of the World Lounge is located at the top of Bay Lake Tower, the Disney Vacation Club resort at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, making it a PRIME spot for viewing the Magic Kingdom fireworks. For months, this spot hasn’t been available to DVC members. It reopened for a limited time for New Year’s Eve at the end of 2021, but hasn’t really been available otherwise. Soon, that’ll change.
An email recently sent to DVC members indicated that the Top of the World Lounge will reopen soon for DVC members and their guests! Not only that, but the email also says the lounge has been “reimagined.”
The lounge is where DVC members can typically enjoy drinks and snacks while taking in those epic views of Magic Kingdom. Previously, the lounge would be open from 5PM to 11PM, giving DVC members their own relaxing spot for watching fireworks. An exact reopening date and operating hours have not yet been announced for this spot.
We’ll keep an eye out for more reopening details and let you know what we find, so stay tuned to DFB for more!
