Do you have a favorite show at Disney World?
Maybe you really love Festival of the Lion King (and yes, it’s a CLASSIC). Or, perhaps you enjoy singing along with Frozen Sing-Along Celebration. Maybe you prefer the action-packed heart-pounding stunts of the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular. However, if it’s the latter, you may notice that the show is a little different right now.
We stopped by Disney’s Hollywood Studios to check out the show today and noticed that something was MISSING. Usually, the show ends with an action-packed fight between the Indiana stunt actor and one of the baddies on top of a plane that’s moving culminating when the plane explodes into flames. Today, though, the plane never appeared.
Instead, a Cast Member mentioned during the show that the scene was cut for the moment due to technical difficulties. So, now the show is cut a bit short with the scene where the jeep flips over being the last.
This is the second day in a row that the plane scene has been cut, and when we spoke to a Cast Member, we were told that they did not know when the technical issue would be fixed. So, if you’re headed to see Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular at Hollywood Studios, keep in mind that it might be shorter than normal. Of course, we’ll let you know about any other changes that happen at Disney World, so stay tuned to DFB for more!

Another cut to guest benefits… when will it end. Pretty soon the show itself will go and a high rise hotel or restaurant will appear, the studios are no longer studios, just another thrill park.

We were at Hollywood Studios on the 21st and there was no plane ending. They didn’t mention to the audience any kind of change and the whole show ended very abruptly. My kids were really disappointed. The whole show was mostly people just talking to the audience and a few tumbling runs. Then the keep blew up but it happened so far off stage you couldn’t really see it, and then they told everyone to leave.
