🎃 IT’S HAPPENING! 🎃 Grab those Halloween costumes, trick-or-treat bags, and all of your spookiest Disney music — we’ve got HUGE Halloween news.
Disney World’s Halloween season looked very different last year, with the Disney After Hours BOO Bash replacing the much beloved Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. We haven’t experienced Mickey’s spooky (or not-so-spooky!) party since 2019! But now we’ve got a HUGE update for 2022!
GET READY FOLKS. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will officially be returning in 2022 and we are beyond excited! (Disney actually posted some of the news earlier this morning but seemingly deleted it quickly after. The news has now officially been reposted on Disney’s websites.)
The event will take place on 37 select nights from August 12th through October 31st, 2022, in Magic Kingdom from 7PM to midnight.
Check out just who helped share the big news about this event’s return!
Tickets will go on sale starting May 18th, 2022! You can purchase tickets online or by calling 407-939-4240. Staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel? Well you’re in luck! Disney World Resort Hotel guests can start buying tickets as soon as May 12th.
Ticket prices will range from $109 to $199. Here’s a look at the event dates:
- August: 12, 16, 19, 23, 26, 30
- September: 2, 5, 9, 11, 13, 16, 18, 20, 23, 25, 27, 29, 30

Question, do you know what time tickets will go on sale for resort hotel guests on may 12th? Our trip is in October and we want to make sure we get tickets! Any tips are helpful and welcome!

Hopefully Vampirina and Doc McStuffins will still be at Disney’s Hollywood Studios during Halloween because I am dying to hug them again. And Vampirina is a good character for Halloween!

This is great!! I’ve been to 5 of these including last years BOO Bash. BOO Bash wasn’t too bad, but we certainly missed the Headless Horseman and Halloween Fireworks. Guess we’ll return next fall now as well.
Brandon says
The official Disney page states guests of “SELECT” Disney World hotels.
Can you specify which hotels will be included?

Do we know what time the tickets will go on sale?

Crazy prices for MNSSHP, WDW really is getting beyond the reach of most families
S.B says
Are they going to have the Main Street Electrical Parade here at Disney World or just Disneyland??
Natalie says
I am curious at Boo Bash you could get free drinks, popcorn, ice creams, and stuff like that. Is that the same for the not so scary party this year? I hope so that sounds like a great draw of boo bash!

Hi, if we are going magic Kingdom on 23rd August with our standard ticket will we just need to leave before 7pm or purchase the Halloween ticket?
Thanks in advance
Dan

Hi Dan! You will have to purchase tickets for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party to remain in the park after 7pm. Cast Members will be out checking to make sure all guests have a wristband for the party after this time.
