It’s Halfway to Halloween and Disney is announcing a TON of things for the holiday! Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Oogie Boogie Bash are coming back, the Sanderson Sisters are coming to Disney Cruise Line, and we even have a look at the new Halloween merchandise coming this year. And now, we have MORE spooky news!
We have a look at the logo for Disney’s upcoming Haunted Mansion movie, AND we have details about the plot!

The premise is that a doctor and her 9-year-old son are looking to start a new life, so they move into a strangely affordable mansion in New Orleans. They soon discover that the place is MUCH more than they bargained for! Looking for help, they get in touch with a priest, who enlists the aid of a widowed scientist-turned failed-paranormal expert, a French Quarter psychic, and a crotchety historian.

The cast of the movie includes LaKeith Stanfield as the paranormal expert, Tiffany Haddish as the psychic, Owen Wilson as the priest, Danny DeVito as the historian, Rosario Dawson as the doctor, and Chase Dillon as the doctor’s son.

Movie title “Disney Haunted Mansion”, YES! I am going to watch that movie! Guest appearance the “Evers” family.
But if the doctor was a Jedi she could talk to the force ghost…
Hopefully it will fare better than the first time they tried this.
Yet another Disney movie I won’t be watching. What else is new?
Hopefully this won’t be as bad as the Eddie Murphy version.
Not even close to the original backstory the imagineers wrote for the attraction. Disappointing and a little disrespectful of their genius and talent. Disney has lost my respect and patronage.
Ooh, can’t wait!
