There’s rarely a dull moment at Disney World!
There’s always something new going on at the parks, and even we’ve been surprised by some of it! EPCOT’s new Connections Cafe had a surprise opening, and one of Disney World’s most popular after-hours events was just announced for the fall! If you’re going to Disney World this month, there are going to be some different things to see, so let’s go through them!
1. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
The biggest news of the month will most likely be the opening of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in EPCOT! We’ve been following every step in the development of this ride, and it’s finally opening this month on May 27th!
This ride will feature Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy in an all new adventure in Disney’s first east coast Marvel attraction! You can expect the unexpected with this ride, because it has an all new Omnicoaster system and Disney’s first reverse launch!

2. Tickets on sale for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party
We were super excited when we found out that Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party would be returning for the first time since 2019! This after-hours event features exclusive entertainment, snacks, and the opportunity to dress up as your favorite character inside Magic Kingdom!
Tickets for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be available on May 18th! And guests staying at Disney World hotels can book tickets on May 12th. Make sure you get your tickets as soon as possible, because this fan-favorite event is sure to sell out!

While many people might think of Memorial Day or Mother’s Day when it comes to holidays in May, Star Wars fans know it’s all about May the 4th! Disney World is the perfect place to celebrate Star Wars day, though, you can expect Disney’s Hollywood Studios to be packed that day!

Memorial Day is coming at the end of the month, and while we’ve seen the holiday draw massive crowds to the parks, we’ve also seen it bring some pretty big sales! While Memorial Day might not be the wisest time to visit the parks if you’re not a fan of crowds, it’s a great time to be on the lookout for Disney sales!
