Mother’s Day is almost here: have you figured out what gift to get for your mom yet? Disney celebrates BIG for many holidays, especially when it comes to food, and Mother’s Day is no exception. We’ve already got a full list of everything coming to Disney World AND Disneyland for Mother’s Day, and we can’t wait to try it all!
Let’s celebrate Mother’s Day
Today, we’re heading over to Disney’s All-Star Resorts to try a limited-time Mother’s Day treat.
We’re trying the aptly (if not creatively) named Mother’s Day Dessert. But don’t let that boring name deceive you — the treat tastes a lot more interesting than it sounds! It can be found at the Intermission Food Court at All-Star Music Resort, the End Zone Food Court at All-Star Sports Resort, and at the World Premiere Food Court at All-Star Movies Resort.
Intermission Food Court
This dessert is Strawberry Mousse with Strawberry Compote and Lemon Curd. It’s decorated with a Passion Fruit Candy Crisp on top. Disney loves a mousse dessert for special occasions, so we’re not very surprised to see more mousse here.
Mother’s Day Dessert
In general, this dessert is very light and refreshing. It’s great for a warm day when you might not feel like eating a heavy treat. The bright, fruity flavors are delicious, and the mousse was delicate, fluffy, and smooth.

The strawberry flavor is very sweet in the mousse, but the lemon curd’s tartness balances it out. We were a little worried that the dessert would taste like artificial fruit flavoring, but the strawberry compote in the middle was so fresh that it prevented any artificialness. That compote really took this treat to the next level.
Inside
Although we really enjoyed this treat, you might want to pass on it if you’re not a big fan of strawberries. Between the mousse and the compote, it’s very strawberry forward. And if you’re hoping for a more filling treat, this might not be the best option either. We’d recommend finding something chocolatey or caramel-y instead in that case.

The Mother’s Day Dessert is $5.99 and can be found at each of the All Star Resort’s food courts! The All-Star Resorts are pretty tough to get to if you’re not staying there, because they’re only accessible by bus or car. So if you’re not a guest at one of these hotels, keep in mind that the treat might not be worth the travel time.
