When Disney announced that traditional meet and greets were returning to the parks, we were ecstatic!

Meet and greets are back!

Almost two full years after Disney World began its phased reopening, we were finally able to high-five, hug, and even dance with our favorite characters once again. Many meet and greet spots opened with an option to bypass the standby line with Disney Genie+ Lightning Lanes, and now it looks like that won’t be an option any longer at one location!

We love visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios to catch up on the latest happenings in Batuu or see what our pals The Muppets are up to. But, we especially love the glitz and glamour that comes with walking down Hollywood and Sunset Boulevards — and then seeing our girl Minnie in her most glam outfit ever!

Mickey at Red Carpet Dreams

Disney World guests looking to meet Mickey and Minnie at Red Carpet Dreams near ABC Commissary now only have one way to do so — through a regular standby line. Beginning May 13th, there is no longer a Lightning Lane option for this meet and greet.
