Do you have a favorite Disney World hotel?
Do you like the Hawaiian vibes of the Polynesian? Or are you more into the groovy theming of Pop Century? Perhaps you dig the New Orleans vibes of the Port Orleans resorts. Or maybe you just love pretending to eat pastries on the French Riviera at the Riviera. Whatever your preference, there’s a hotel for you! We just visited Disney World’s hotels, checking in to see what’s been going on with them lately.
So let’s get to some updates!
Riviera Food Updates
Le Petit Cafe
We had a chance to check out Le Petit Cafe’s Mother’s Day offering, which was a Mini-Dessert Chocolate Box for Mom for $12, which was a Chocolate Box — inside the box was a ganache brownie, raspberry macaron, and lemon madeleines.
The treats inside the box were quite good, but the box itself pretty much started to melt in the Florida sun.

Riviera Other Updates
Because it was around Mother’s Day when we stopped by the Riviera, we found that the craft activity was a Create Your Own Mother’s Day Card. Be sure to check out crafting activities at your Disney World hotel, because there’s always something to do and many of these, like this one, are free!
You can also check out paid activities at your hotel, like the Painting Activity available at the Riviera. Right now, you can learn to paint Orange Bird!
So be sure to learn all about the activities your hotel has to offer!

Port Orleans French Quarter Food Updates
Sassagoula Floatworks
We tried the Mother’s Day Cupcake at Port Orleans, which was available for $5.99. This cupcake is a Lemon-scented cupcake filled with fresh blueberry compote topped, vanilla buttercream, and fondant flowers.
It was pretty good, and we liked the sweet and tartness of it, although we didn’t really taste any lemon. This cupcake was also available at Riverside Mill Food Court at Port Orleans — Riverside.
