Let’s see what’s happening in Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

As we near the 5-year anniversary of Pandora – The World of Avatar on May 27th, we’re seeing new Pandora merchandise hit the parks! And while we expected to see mostly Pandora merchandise hit the park, instead we mostly saw…Simba?! That’s right, Disney seems to be stuck in 1994 (when Lion King was released, of course), as the park was full of Simba merch. Like, seriously…Simba is everywhere. Of course, we saw other updates in the park too, like new food offerings and items unrelated to Lion King, so let’s see what’s new in Animal Kingdom!

Animal Kingdom Merchandise Updates

Discovery Trading Company

As far as new merchandise goes, we saw this new yellow Disney World Tank Top for $39.99. It features Mickey Mouse in different colors, as well as the Walt Disney World logo!

We also saw the white Mickey Mouse Tank Top hit the store for $36.99!

We also saw some items get restocked, like the 50th notepad, photo album, coloring book…

…and the Belle nuiMO.

Riverside Depot

We saw two Wishables packs in the store that were previously only seen in other parks! Riverside Depot now has the Star Wars Wishables pack for $14.99 (previously seen in Hollywood Studios)…

…and the Main Street Electrical Parade Wishables pack for $16.99 (previously seen in Magic Kingdom).

We also saw the Haunted Mansion Mug restocked!

Island Mercantile

We saw the Orange Bird dress was in stock!

We also saw the new Simba Crop Hoodie! It’s a yellow hoodie with a white Simba print, and costs $49.99.
