What’s the FIRST souvenir you think of when you think of Disney World? Is it ears? We bet it is!
Even if it wasn’t, you have to admit that Minnie and Mickey ears are iconic and a total theme park staple. And, there are SO many to choose from! Seriously, Disney has released dozens of new pairs already this year — it’s hard to keep up. But, luckily for you, we made it easy and compiled ALL of them together in one place! So, let’s check out ALL of the Minnie and Mickey ears that have been released so far in 2022. We will continue to update this post as more ears are released throughout the year.
January
The first pair of ears released in January were these Lunar New Year Minnie Ears! 2022 is the year of the tiger and the ears have some fun floral embroidery and a red and gold color scheme. The red tassel is said to signify luck and good fortune!
Next, we had these awesome light-up Star Wars Lightsaber Mickey Ears! One Sid has the Rebel Alliance symbol while the other has the symbol for the Galactic Empire. Instead of a bow, you can see a blue and red lightsaber dueling!
Also released in January were these exclusive Pop Century Minnie Ears. They’re pretty groovy, with sequined records as the ears and a colorful floral bow. In the middle, you can see the Pop logo that matches the one at Disney’s Pop Century Resort.
We also saw some new ears that were a little late to the party! These Winter Mickey Balloon Ears look like they should’ve been put out during the holiday season, but we got them in January. These also light up!
January didn’t bring us many pairs of new ears, but don’t worry, there are PLENTY more ahead!
February
In February, we were introduced to the Princess Minnie Mouse Ears! These are a light pink with sparkly sequins and a crown instead of a bow. Check out those pearl details!
Next, we saw these FUZZY Sherpa Tie-Dye Minnie Ears! They have pink, orange, purple, and a little bit of yellow tie dye across the ears and then a pink sherpa bow.
These Beauty and the Beast Belle Ears arrived in Disney World and are…interesting. They feature a gold sequin bow with a 3D gold tone Enchanted Rose in the center, along with clear plastic ears filled with gold sequins and decorated with Belle screen art. This design was definitely a choice!
We also got the Mickey Balloon Ears in Disney World in February! They have a blue balloon inside one ear and a yellow one inside the other, and they light up!
The Valentine’s Day Minnie Ears arrived the day before the holiday. They’re bright pink with white hearts and sequins all over!
Next, we got some pretty Classic Minnie Ears! These ears are black and the bow is white with red polka dots. They’re sparkly and shiny, which gives them a little more pizzazz compared to the original classic Minnie design.
Disney World also got these stunning Bright Green Sequin Ears in February! They are yet another sequined pair, but the bow is a little more unique and the monochromatic color scheme totally works.
Alice in Wonderland got her own ears at Disney World! Each ear has a print of Alice, tea cups, and other Alice in Wonderland imagery over a turquoise background. The bow is blue satin with white lace, which totally reminds us of Alice’s blue and white dress.
The next pair of ears were a bit different — these Floral Wreath Ears were giving us major DIY vibes, like someone went to Michael’s and threw them together. Are you a fan?
Continuing with the DIY flower vibes, Disney also released these British Floral Minnie Ears in EPCOT’s UK pavilion. They feature a bow adorned with a pattern reminiscent of the Union Jack (but it’s made out of flowers) and a crown!
After that, the Amethyst Ears made their way to Disney World! The ears have large iridescent purple sequins and a velvety purple bow. They definitely make a statement!
Another Disney World resort got its own pair of ears — Art of Animation. These ears are special because they actually CHANGE COLORS in the sun! Inside, they’re white…
…and outside they’re pink!
Now, let’s see what ears March had in store!
March
Kicking things off in March were these Limoncello Ears from EPCOT’s Italy pavilion! They have blue velvet fabric on the headband and bright yellow sequins on the ears. The blue and yellow bow has a lemon in the middle, and a hidden Mickey!
We also saw the release of these really fun Orange Bird Ears ahead of the 2022 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival. The ears look like orange slices and they’re transparent!
Disney then released this adorable ear hat themed to Chef Mickey’s at the Contemporary Resort! You can wear a chef’s hat like Mickey AND have Mickey ears on at the same time.
Tomorrowland fans got a pair of Minnie ears that were out of this world! They have sparkly silver ears with a purple bow that’s spotted with stars.
Princess Tiana also got her own pair of ears! These are actually BaubleBar ears and they have velvet lime green ears with a lovely crown in the middle.
The first pair of ears from the Mickey Mouse: The Main Attraction series also landed in Disney World. The first collection is themed to Space Mountain and brought us these ears with a spaceship on them!
March was also the month that the Mickey Pretzel Ears arrived in Disney World! These are actually scented to smell like a Mickey pretzel, but we were kind of on the fence.
We also saw some VERY pricy ears be released for Disney World’s 50th anniversary! Coach came out with several pairs of ears, each representing a different Disney park. There is a pair of ears for Walt Disney World…
….Disneyland Resort…
…Shanghai Disney Resort…
…and Disneyland Paris. Each pair of these will set you back almost $300!
Finally, check out this pair of Little Mermaid Ears! These are BaubleBar ears as well and feature pearly shells as the ears with a purple and green layered bow.
Ready for more ears? Because there are a lot more!
April
Disney World has released a TON of ears for its 50th anniversary, and they released another pair in April! These Gold Sequined Minnie Ears have a royal blue bow and are simple, but still sparkly!
Graduation Ears also arrived for the class of 2022 in April. The black sequined ears have a mini graduation hat on top, complete with a tassel! They say “Class of 2022” on the side.
The Orchid Sparkly Minnie Ears brought even MORE sequins to the party, with a bright pink color on both the ears and the bow.
Next, we got another pair of ears in the Mickey Mouse: The Main Attraction series. The second collection is themed to Pirates of the Caribbean, so we got these Pirate Hat Ears! Aren’t they fun?!
Pixar’s Turning Red was released in March, and so was a TON of merchandise for the movie, including these super cool Red Panda Ears! We didn’t get the ears in Disney World until April, though. But, just check out how fun these are! They show Mei Mei in human form and as a red panda.
We got yet another pair of Rose Gold Minnie Ears in April. They’re covered in rose gold sequins but have a pink satin bow on top!
This pair of ears seems a little lost in Disney World — they’re themed to Disneyland’s Main Street Electrical Parade! They were actually released in Disney World first and are celebrating the 50th anniversary of the parade. Oh, and they GLOW IN THE DARK!
The next pair of new ears we found were these Butterfly Minnie Ears. They were totally giving us Barbie Fairy Princess vibes, and they even have a veil! They also kind of look like two giant loofahs.
We got ANOTHER pair of scented ears over at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — French Quarter. These are shaped like Mickey Beignets and smell like them, too!
Finally, we found some ears to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Disneyland Paris! These were over in EPCOT’s France pavilion and feature sparkly gold ears, a navy blue bow with stars, and Tinker Bell in front of the park’s castle.
So, you don’t even have to go all the way to Paris to celebrate!
May
In May, we got these new embroidered ears from the Mexico pavilion in EPCOT! Aren’t they stunning?! They’re so bold and vibrant.
We’ve also seen these Loungefly Character Ears! They’re light blue with a navy blue sequined bow and feature a ton of Disney characters on the ears. Can you name them all?
As part of the Mickey Mouse: The Main Attraction collection, the Mad Tea Party Ears were released in Disney World in May!
Yes, the cups are TALL, but these are perfect for fans of the attraction!
June
The Pride Ears also came to Disney World, just in time to celebrate Pride Month!
And we also saw these fun red, white, and blue Gingham Ears arrive in Disney World! We first saw them in Disneyland, and they totally made us want to go on a picnic.
We then saw some more graduation ears be released! These are more like a traditional graduation cap and have the “Class of 2022” on the back!
The SUPER popular Scarlet Witch Ears also arrived in Disney World in June! These sold out pretty quick, but we did see them get restocked.
Speaking of Marvel ears, Disney released these ears for Thor: Love and Thunder, and they’re…interesting. We’re not sure how to feel about them. The material piece in the middle sits up on your head instead of fitting to it, which is a bit odd.
We saw the Star Wars Ewok Ears in June as well! These are super fuzzy and were designed by Ashley Eckstein, who is the voice of Ahsoka Tano in Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
There were also new ears released for Pixar’s Lightyear! These feature Buzz Lightyear’s robot cat companion, Sox. They also GLOW in the DARK!
For those who like a little bedazzle in their lives, we also found a pair of Blue Sequined Ears with a Bedazzled Bow.
And those are all of the ears we’ve seen in June!
July
We saw the Purple Minnie Ears pop up in Disney World, and they’re full of color!
We also saw another variation of the balloon ears…the 50th Anniversary Balloon Minnie Ears. Oh — and they light up too, and you can also get them online!
We also saw Loungefly release their own pair of Pirates of the Caribbean Ears.
Speaking of Loungefly, we saw these Loungefly Tower of Terror Ears that were so popular that they sold out very quickly in the parks.
The infamous Captain Marvel Ears finally made their way to Disney World after only being available online and in Disneyland.
The EPCOT Food and Wine Festival also kicked off, so we saw the new pair of Festival Ears!
And for an exclusive pair of ears, we saw these Disney Vacation Club Ears at Old Key West Resort.
Speaking of ears found at hotels, check out the NEW Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside Resort-themed ears we found in July. These are stunning!
Over at the Emporium, we spotted these BaubleBar Ears inspired by Princess Jasmine!
These Mickey Bar Minnie Ears might make you hungry — they’re chocolate-scented!
That’s all for July — so let’s see what was released in August!
August
After we previously saw them online, August started out big with these Enchanted Tiki Room Ears from the Mickey Mouse: The Main Attraction series.
Loungefly released new Baby Yoda Ears made with simulated leather. You can also find these online.
A party-exclusive pair of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Minnie Ears was released only for ticket holders.
These Purple Floral Minnie Ears were found in Plume et Palette in the France Pavilion of EPCOT, after we previously only saw them in Disneyland.
We were stunned by this new pair of Vera Wang Ears we found at Uptown Jewelers in Magic Kingdom. They cost a whopping $600!
If you’re looking for some slightly less expensive ears, you can pick up the NEW Haunted Mansion ears. These were released in July in Disneyland and online, but we didn’t spot them in Disney World until August. These are $29.99.
Another set of ears we spotted online in July, but in Disney World in August, is the Bride Ear Headband with veil! Whether you wear this to a wedding (might not exactly be a good luck charm considering this bride’s activities) or to the parks, it’s sure to make you stand out. Get it for $29.99.
In August we also spotted the Adjustable 50th Anniversary gold ears in Disney World, though we’d already seen them online.
There were also some Tiana Lotus Minnie Ears released, which have a white headband with gold trim and a satin bow and feather with a gold jewel for $29.99. These are also available online!
For Halloween, we saw these spooky Jack Skellington ears arrive as well. They have a 3-D-type version of him on the ear and cost $29.99. We already saw these online as well.
Speaking of Halloween, check out these Halloween print ears! They first popped up online, but have since sold out. Luckily, they’re in Disney World. Oh, and they glow in the dark! Get them for $29.99.
We also saw these classic electric blue Mickey ears release in the parks that say Walt Disney World on them. They also feature Mickey Mouse himself! You can get these for $29.99.
That’s all for August, let’s move to September!
September
After being online for quite some time, the Halloween Tie-Dye Ears appeared in the Emporium for $29.99! They have an orange and white tie-dye print on the ears and headband, with a gray and white tie-dye print on the bow.
The Copper Minnie Ears were also online, but we grabbed them in Disney World for $29.99. They feature a copper color, with a sequined bow in the middle.
The Pearl Minnie Ears also made their way to Disney World! They’re available online and at Creations Shop in EPCOT for $29.99. The ears are an off-white color and are super shiny!
We also spotted the Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway Ears at the Emporium for $29.99. The ears are picnic-themed, featuring Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, and the cute chubby bird.
And there’s also the Mickey Mouse: The Main Attraction Peter Pan’s Flight Ears, which we grabbed from Creations Shop at EPCOT. The midnight blue ears feature the second star to the right, a blue hat, and a red feather and pirate ship. They were $34.99.
The Minnie Mouse Button Bow Ears were online for a while before we saw them in Disney World, but we finally snagged a pair from the Emporium in Magic Kingdom for $29.99.
Another pair of hotel-themed ears arrived in Disney World in September — say hello to the Grand Floridian Ears! We found these at the hotel only and they were $39.99.
The Rose Gold Confetti Ears are for anyone in the mood to celebrate! The bow is rose gold with sequins and the ears are clear with rose gold confetti. These cost $29.99!
Oogie Boogie Bash may be happening over at Disneyland, but the Oogie Boogie Ears made an appearance in Magic Kingdom! These feature the iconic villain for $29.99.
These next ears were not released by Disney, but by a designer brand in Disney Springs! Introducing the Vera Bradley Ears — there is one pair with a light purple bow and Mickey and Minnie…
…and a second pair with a different purple print, Mickey and Minnie, and a black bow.
Fall is perfectly captured by the Corduroy Pear Plaid Minnie Ears! These $29.99 ears are green all over with a layered plaid bow in the middle to tie it all together.
Looking for a throwback? Check out the Euro Disney Ears that first debuted at the D23 Expo! Sorcerer Mickey is the star and the other ear says “Euro Disney 1992”.
The Coco Ears can do it all — they are perfect for spooky season and to wear year round! These embroidered ears are so colorful and have a unique bow, and they’ll cost you $29.99.
We first spotted these at the D23 Expo, but the Tiana Ears by Color Me Courtney arrived in Disney World at the end of September. The ears are covered in white beads and instead of a classic bow, there are 5 different pieces of fabric that kinda resemble Tiana’s dress! These ears are $39.99.
Whew! That is every pair of ears in Disney World in September — let’s check out October!
October
Starting us off in October are a pair of exclusive Minnie ears, the Disney Vacation Club Ears! This pair is VERY colorful and there are so many details to look for. Only DVC Members are allowed to buy these ears for $39.99.
Ahhh, it’s everyone’s favorite rat — Remy! He is the star of the Ratatouille Ears we found in Disney World! The bow looks like a picnic blanket and the ears have fruit and cheese. What more could you want from a pair of ears?! These Loungefly ears are $39.99.
We’ve seen several Mickey Mouse: The Main Attraction collection ears and in October, the Dumbo Ears arrived in Disney World for $34.99!
Another Main Attraction collection arrived shortly after Dumbo — it’s the Prince Charming Regal Carousel Ears for $34.99!
Calling all Figment fans! Disney recently released new Figment Ears for $34.99.
