Bibbidi! Bobbidi! BOO! The return of this magical experience that transforms little boys and girls into dashing heroes and charming princesses has finally been announced!
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is Disney’s own boutique for guests ages 3 to 12 years old. “Magical Makeovers” are provided by Fairy Godmothers-in-Training who turn guests into royal princesses or gallant knights. There are two Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutiques in Disney World, located in Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, but they have remained closed since the pandemic closures, and we’ve been anxiously awaiting the moment when they reopened their doors. Now, we know when these spots will reopen!
Due to health and safety concerns, this high-touch, high-contact activity was put on hold for a long while. And for those young little heroines itching to show off their inner princess, the options were limited. But now the Fairy Godmothers-in-Training have announced that Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will reopen sometime this year and start welcoming back young patrons for a healthy dose of pixie dust.
The boutique will also be reopening at Disneyland Resort! We don’t have a specific timeline yet, but we know it’ll be sometime in 2022.
Before the boutiques closed, families had multiple packages to choose from to find that glass-slipper perfect fit for their young one. Although Disney hasn’t announced yet which packages will return when the boutiques reopen, here’s a re-cap of what was available before:

Any option could be enhanced with separate purchase add-ons like shoes, wands, crowns, and more! Reservations are required for this experience and can be made through the Disney World website or by calling (407) 939-1929. Remember, even magic takes a little time, so plan for your little one’s transformation to take about an hour. And if you’re booking your experience inside the Magic Kingdom, you will need valid park tickets and park pass reservations, as well.
We’re so glad to see even more magic return to the Parks! Stay tuned to DFB as we continue to keep you informed on all of the Disney news.

You don’t mention the boutique at Disney Springs. Any news on that one?

I thought they couldn’t call little girls princesses any more. I’m sure it makes a difference when a price tag is involved.

Do you know if they still have the princess signature package? Disney’s website does not show that as an available option. Last year when we went, we bought the signature dress at the Four Seasons and had the makeover done there at the spa but it would be nice to not have to take the time to buy the dress at the Four Seasons if they had them at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.
