Jambo, everyone (that means hello, if you didn’t know)!
We go to the Disney World parks every day, and today we’re bringing you latest updates in construction, merchandise, and food from Disney’s wildest theme park — Animal Kingdom!
Animal Kingdom Food Updates
Zuri’s Sweets Shop
Zuri’s Sweets Shop is ready for summer with a bunch of returning strawberry treats! There’s the Strawberry Mickey Rice Krispie Treat…
…and the large Strawberry Mickey Cookie.
Both of these treats are $5.49. These treats were good, but we think there are better options if you’re looking for a snack in Animal Kingdom.

Animal Kingdom Construction Updates
Parking Trams
Perhaps the biggest news to come out of Animal Kingdom this week is that the parking trams have finally returned!
That’s right, you no longer need to walk through the parking lot to get to your car anymore, the tram will pick you up and take you to the front of the park and vice versa.

KiteTails CHANGES
Disney recently announced that the way we watch KiteTails would be changing, and when we were in Animal Kingdom recently, we noticed that the signage around the KiteTails amphitheater has been taken down.
The show is being changed so that it can be viewed from all around Discovery River and shows will happen more frequently throughout the day.

Finding Nemo Show
Another change that’s coming to Animal Kingdom is the updated Finding Nemo show. The new show, Finding Nemo: The Big, Blue… and Beyond! is replacing Finding Nemo: The Musical and we noticed a change to the show’s home, the Theater in the Wild.
There’s currently canvas covering up the place where there’s usually a sign for whatever show is performing there. We expect this will become home to a new poster for the updated show.

Animal Kingdom Merchandise Updates
Island Mercantile
Over at Island Mercantile, we noticed a button-up from the Vault Collection.
This shirt is white and features some of the classic Disney characters like Mickey and Goofy, along with the Walt Disney World logo. It also has a pocket that says “Walt Disney World” and “71,” which is a reference to 1971, the year Disney World opened. This shirt is available for $59.99.
Windtraders
Pandora just celebrated its 5th anniversary in Disney World, and there’s tons of merchandise in Windtraders to celebrate. We got a peek at some of the items that will be coming as part of this celebration (including a candle!) not long ago.
First up are a ton of PINS! These pins say “5 Years on Pandora The World of Avatar” and are meant to look like Pandora during the night and during the day. The Pandora during the day pin is $17.99 and the Pandora at nighttime pin is $19.99.
If you’re a fan of the woodsprite scene in Flight of Passage (it really is one of the best), then you’ll want to see this Woodsprite Pin for $19.99. It is a limited edition pin, and one of only 3,000!
We also spotted this tumbler for $22.99. It has the same design as one of the pins above.
We saw this Pandora PopSocket for $19.99. It features the iconic Pandora floating mountains.
And finally, we saw a couple of magnets! There’s a Banshee magnet for $9.99…
…and this 5 Years on Pandora Magnet, also for $9.99!
And that’s what’s new in Disney’s Animal Kingdom! As always, make sure to keep reading DFB for all the latest Disney news and updates from the parks!
