Whether they’re heading to the parks, starting new business ventures, or making guest appearances in our favorite shows and movies, we like to know what’s going on. But this week, we were caught completely off guard when we learned a fun fact about a Disney star that we didn’t know. Apparently, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is the “best prom date!”
A few days ago, Instagram user @smilesweetsraccoon posted a series of photos from her prom. Like any other teen, she was dressed in her formal best for the occasion, but the thing that drew the attention of many was her date for the evening — a cardboard cutout of Dwayne Johnson! And just a few days later, The Rock actually shared the photos on his own Instagram account.
The caption says that The Rock is the “best date a person could ask for,” and honestly, we have to agree! Based on the pictures alone, it’s clear that he dressed up nice for the occasion, posed for pictures, and even hung out with his date’s friends. You couldn’t ask for anything better! 😉
However, cardboard cutouts may not be exactly what you’re looking for if you’re hoping to spot a Disney celeb in real life. Although, your chances of seeing one at Disney World are higher than you may believe! We’ve spotted many a famous person in the past when filming for TV specials, enjoying a day with their families, or even performing at an EPCOT festival. So if you know where to look, you just might have a chance to meet your favorite Disney star!

Apparently, I was within touching distance of a few Kardashians at California Adventure in April. I could tell they were someone popular with all of the teenage girls pointing phones at them. I recognized the HUGE wagon they brought with them when the photos hit the fan sites.
