Calling all Finding Nemo fans! Put on those fins and get those vocal chords ready — it’s almost time to go back into the Big Blue World in Animal Kingdom.
Finding Nemo
For 2 years (since the pandemic-related park closures) we haven’t been able to sing along to “Go With the Flow” while watching the Finding Nemo Musical. Other entertainment offerings have returned, but the last update we heard on this show is that it was being reimagined and would return at some point in 2022. Well, now we have a HUGE update!
The reimagined Finding Nemo show, called Finding Nemo: The Big Blue… and Beyond!, will debut in Disney’s Animal Kingdom on June 13th, 2022! This is the date when it will be added to Disney Genie+, so, you can grab a Lightning Lane to view the show!
Finding Nemo: The Musical area
Again, this is not the exact same Finding Nemo Musical you were used to seeing before the park closures. Instead, it is a reimagined version of the show. The adventure starts by “catching up with the fish from Dr. P. Sherman’s office in Finding Nemo who made their way across the ocean to the Marine Life Institute.”
There will be new story material in the show, but you’ll still get the chance to listen to popular tunes like “In The Big Blue World” and “Go with the Flow.”

The updated story will take place during the events of Finding Dory and will feature live performers, animated backdrops, and more. We can’t wait to see this updated show when it debuts this year in Animal Kingdom.
Curious as to when this show will be available each day after it premieres? Well, the Disney has announced that the showtimes on June 13th will be 10:30AM, 11:30AM, 12:30PM, 2:30PM, 3:30PM, and 4:30PM.

I’m so EXCITED!!!! We’ll be there June 23. I missed this show so much since it’s been gone. I know everyone loves Lion King but this is my favorite. Their performers are amazing.

I have the whole thing in iTunes, including the dialog, and really enjoy it. It’s pure genius!
It’s also the only place you can find out what the P stands for in “P Sherman 42 Wallaby Way” — the movie never says!
