Disney World hotels see changes quite often, from renovations to full additions.
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is currently having many of its rooms renovated, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is getting a whole new building, and Disney’s Contemporary Resort got a new restaurant last year. And now, a big change seems to be on its way to Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort.
The Pirate Rooms will soon be unavailable at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort.
We tried to book a Pirate Room for sometime in 2023, but we couldn’t find any availability. We chatted with a Cast Member who told us that the rooms will not be available in 2023, but that they would be available through the end of 2022.
Note that Disney has not made an official announcement about what’s going on with the rooms. They could be getting makeovers or facelifts, or disappearing, but just know that if you want to guarantee that you’ll be able to sleep in a pirate ship, you should book your stay for sometime this year.
Caribbean Beach Resort does have other hotel rooms — only select rooms have the pirate theming, so there will still be other rooms available at the resort in 2023.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated if we find out anything else about the changes, so stay tuned to DFB for more.
