The list of restaurants that remain closed in Disney World is growing slim!
We have seen buffets return, the return of character dining, and fan-favorite restaurants reopen. Back in March, we got the news that Victoria & Albert’s would be reopening in Disney World this year and ever since then, we have been waiting with bated breath to get an official opening date. And today is that day! Disney just announced a reopening date for Victoria & Albert’s!
After a long closure, Victoria & Albert’s will finally be reopening on July 28th!
Guests wanting to dine here will be able to make reservations beginning on June 20th. For those who don’t know, Victoria & Albert’s is an award-winning signature dining experience located at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. This restaurant has received AAA’s Five Diamond Award as well as the Forbes Travel Five-Star Award, among many others.
Victoria & Albert’s is extremely fine dining, so you can expect a high price tag for this experience. The meal itself is multiple courses of modern twists on American style food with ingredients sourced from around the world. Guests have had the option to dine in one of three locations: the main dining room, the Chef’s Table in the kitchen, or the private Queen Victoria Room.
The Chef’s Table is one of the most exclusive dining experiences at Disney World where the chefs interact with the table to create a personalized menu for the evening.
So what can you expect from the reopening restaurant? Well, the dining room has been reimagined! The new dining room will bring guests into “a Victorian-styled setting with murals and wall coverings that showcase a timeless elegance and subtle inspirations of a whimsical garden.” We can’t wait to see it!
Disney has also mentioned that the flavors will be enhanced. We’ll be on the lookout for an updated menu! Stay tuned to DFB for all the latest updates!

I would love to know…
In what possible universe…
Under what horrible planning…
Could this restaurant still not be open? Seriously, boys and girls. This is a JOKE.
It’s like they screw up beyond belief, and they want you to applaud them when they stop doing so.

Any updates on pricing? I can’t see any way this doesn’t have at least a 15% price increase.

They need to open this restaurant up for children as well. The 10yr age restriction is absurd. Everyone’s money is green. Thinking you are entitled to “alone time” is absolutely precious.
“If the sound of children laughing all around, to you is noise, not pleasant sound, then this song is for you.”
It’s Disney world…. Get over it.

Trying to get reservations but calendar shows all dates booked through August 20. I called & could not get through. How can I get a reservation?
DFB Gigi says
Hi! They may be fully booked, but people do end up cancelling reservations. The best thing to do is to keep checking back as often as possible in case of a cancellation.
