EPCOT may be the park undergoing a major transformation right now, but Disney’s Hollywood Studios has been getting some updates, as well!
We’re currently seeing some construction in Hollywood Studios over in Toy Story Land as work continues on the new table service restaurant coming to the land, Roundup Rodeo BBQ. Disney hasn’t shared details on when this restaurant will open, so in the meantime, let’s head to Hollywood Studios to see what’s new in food, construction, and merchandise.Â
Hollywood Studios Food Updates
ABC Commissary
ABC Commissary is one of the quick service food options available in Hollywood Studios. When we were there recently, we noticed that there is a new item available on the kids menu: a chicken salad sandwich.
This sandwich is $7.49 and comes with two sides. It has replaced the turkey sandwich previously available on the kids menu.

Hollywood Studios Construction Updates
We headed to Batuu on a recent trip and noticed that there was some cracking in various areas on the ground in Galaxy’s Edge.
These areas have been sectioned off by Cast Members for safety.

Hollywood Studios Merchandise Updates
The Darkroom
We’ve been seeing a lot of Buzz Lightyear merchandise popping up around the perks in celebration of the new Pixar movie, Lightyear. At The Darkroom, we noticed this youth hat.
This hat is made to look like Buzz Lightyear’s space ranger suit, complete with wings. It is $24.99.
Celebrity 5 & 10
We’ve also seen a lot of Stitch merchandise recently. Disney released a collection for the 20th anniversary of Lilo & Stitch as well as a collection that serves up some serious summer vibes. We spotted this Stitch cushion that looks similar to the items in the summer collection.
The cushion features Stitch surfing, playing ukulele, and hanging out by the beach. You can grab it for $59.99.
Mickey’s of Hollywood
Over at Mickey’s of Hollywood, we spotted the most recent Mickey Mouse: the Main Attraction collection to make its way to the Disney World parks. The “it’s a small world” collection is available online, but we saw the ears for $34.99…
…the Mickey Mouse plush for $34.99…
…the pin for $29.99…
…and the collectible key for $29.99.
We did not see the Loungefly backpack with the rest of the collection.
Majestic Theater
If you’re in need of a new watch, head over to the Majestic Theater! We spotted three watches: a gold watch with a Mickey-shaped watch face…
…a Jack Skellington from The Nighmare Before Christmas watch…
…and a Haunted Mansion watch.
Each watch is available for $64.99. And if you’re looking to add a pop of color to your wardrobe, we found the perfect clothing items for you. First up, we saw this Watercolor Cinderella Castle Windbreaker.
It has Cinderella Castle outlines with watercolor splotches and the Disney World logo. It is $69.99. You can complete the look with the same pattern, but on a polo shirt!
It has the same pattern as the windbreaker and is available for $49.99.
Tower Hotel Gifts
Any Pirates of the Caribbean fans out there? At Tower Hotel Gifts (the gift shop for the Tower of Terror ride), we saw three new jewelry pieces all themed after the Pirates movies. We saw this skull necklace that is a gold chain with a skull pendant, an anchor, and a key. This necklace is $19.99.
There is also this pair of earrings that are made to look like the coin the pirates are after in the first movie, The Curs of the Black Pearl. These earrings are $14.99.
And finally we have the skull earrings.
These earrings look similar to the necklace and are $16.99.
Keystone Clothiers
Up your Crocs game with this pair of Star Wars Crocs at Keystone Clothiers.
They are blue and black camouflage Crocs with Star Wars-themed jibbitz, like a Mandalorian helmet. They are $69.99.
Creature Stall
At the Creature Stall at Black Spire Outpost in Galaxy’s Edge, we spotted this pack of 12 colored pencils.Â
The pack is $17.99.
Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities
Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities is known for having some pretty unique items. When we were there recently, we saw this Star Wars statue.
You can grab this for $49.99.
Droid Depot
And lastly, at the Droid Depot, we found this Babu Frik robot toy.
Babu Frik made an appearance in Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker. You can grab the robot toy for $49.99.

And that’s what’s new in Hollywood Studios, but it’s not all that’s going on in Disney World! There are a lot of changes still happening, with progress being made on the TRON rollercoaster in the Magic Kingdom, as well as the continued construction in EPCOT, like the changes we’ve seen to the area that will hold Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana.
And the Disney World parks aren’t the only places changes are being made. Both the Polynesian Village Resort and the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa are undergoing construction. The Polynesian is getting a new DVC building, and the DVC rooms at the Grand Floridian are being renovated.
We’re always on the lookout for new changes and updates in Disney World, so make sure to stay tuned to DFB for the latest news!
