Animal Kingdom Food Updates
Caravan Road
There’s a new Tropical Shaved Ice flavor available at this seasonal spot and it sounds rather refreshing! This is not for the Kakigori, but instead for what used to be called the “Tropical Slushy” (now the menu lists it as Tropical Shaved Ice.
Previously, the Tropical Slushy had Mango and Watermelon syrup. Now, it’s a Mango-Passion Fruit Watermelon Shaved Ice creation, which is available for $4.99.
So it seems like the addition of the Passion Fruit is the change here. If you’re 21+ you can also get this with Vodka for $11.

Animal Kingdom General Updates
Character Flotillas
We’ve got an update on how the character flotillas are running in the park! On our most recent visit, we noticed that the boats were floating down the river in succession — three at a time.
We spotted Goofy with Chip ‘n’ Dale, the Lion King boat, and the Drummer boats together…
…followed by Donald, Pocahontas and friends, and Mickey. It’s something to be aware of if you’ll be heading to the park soon and hoping to catch those characters, but note that these things can change.
Also, in exciting news, Disney shared that Donald’s Dino-Bash Meet and Greet is coming back soon!
We’ll keep an eye on the character flotillas in Animal Kingdom and let you know if we notice any other changes!
That’s all the news we have from Animal Kingdom for now! If you’re heading to the parks soon, keep in mind that temperatures are rising and it’s important to stay hydrated! We’ve got plenty of tips on how to prepare for rainy weather, too.
Don’t forget that guests still need valid park pass reservations to visit the parks, so be sure you’ve got yours booked ahead of your visit. And check out Disney Genie+ — the paid way to skip standby lines in the parks via Lightning Lanes!
