We love being in the Disney Parks, but we gotta show our love for the hotels sometimes!
Disney World hotels can offer you a variety of experiences and can keep the magic going once you leave the parks! Disney’s Grand Floridian Hotel just got some new studios and villas, and the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is back at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort! There’s a new hotel coming to the Disney Springs area, and we just got a closer look at what it’s gonna look like!
The Drury Plaza Hotel is opening another location close to Disney Springs. The hotel was announced back in 2019, and they started taking reservations in January. We just got a bunch of photos of what we can expect from the hotel, so let’s take a look!
Here’s what one of the suites is gonna look like! The rooms are modern and sleek, and you can’t beat the location!
They also have rooms that will connect to larger living spaces, so you have tons of room to spread out while you’re on vacation!
Here’s what the double rooms are gonna look like! These rooms have tons of space and natural sunlight.
Here’s what you can expect when you pull up to the front of the hotel!
You’ll also be able to catch some of Disney World’s fireworks from here!
Here’s what the lobby is going to look like. We can’t wait to see this hotel in person when it’s finished!
We can’t wait to see this hotel! There are a lot of factors that play into which Disney Word hotel you should stay in, but we have everything you need to know which resort is right for you! Yikes – no. Looks like a Radisson somewhere in Wisconsin… and not a new one. Was this the answer to the question: How do you design a space that, when brand new, immediately looks 20 years old? It doesn’t look fresh or modern, and there’s nothing that tells you you’re at the Walt Disney World Resort or even particularly in Florida. Or in a hotel, even. I’ve been in hospitals with corridors that look more tropical and inviting than that soul-sucking white rectangle with the giant blue rug. Looks like the only signs of life are the concession stands on either side — so is it an airport terminal? The design seems very ambiguous, dull and corporate, like they’re expecting to fill the space with conference attendees. Hard pass from me.

It looks lovely but I never understand why newer hotels are still going with two doubles verses two queens. That may work for small children sharing a bed but most couples I know are used to a King and teenagers don’t find a pull out very comfy at a certain point. If it’s not two queens, we don’t considerate it. My husband and I can manage to share a queen, but certainly not a double. It does look very nice though!

A fresh hotel in a great location with decent room rates is always a good thing, but this is the old Best Western Lake Buena Vista it seems they aren’t improving on enough to really get excited for, unfortunately. It looks like it’s okay but just okay, kind of ugly and super boring. I hope I’m wrong.
