There’s so much to do at Disney World!
During a trip, our first stop is usually Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, or EPCOT. But how about Disney Springs?! Disney Springs is filled with so much to experience — shopping, food, treats, drinks, and more! And when we made Disney Springs our first stop today, we were not disappointed!
We were met with an empty Disney Springs when we visited the area at 9:30AM today! Like, seriously — we were some of the only ones there. Look at this!
Of course, even when the area is virtually empty, Starbucks will still manage to have a line. It’s inevitable. However, this is MUCH shorter than Starbucks lines we see in the parks around this time and this is probably the most empty you’ll see this area all day!
Most of the stores in Disney Springs were still closed at this point, however it can be nice to stroll peacefully through Disney Springs with a coffee in hand. Also, if you want to get a head start on shopping, you can enter the big stores like World of Disney right when they open! By the time you’re done shopping, the crowds will have arrived and you can escape before it gets too busy if you’ve seen all you need to see!
We did notice by 10:30AM the crowds started to pick up a bit, but it was not too overwhelming like we usually see on weekend afternoons and evenings. We’re used to seeing Disney Springs look like this on weekends!
So make Disney Springs your first stop of the day if you’re looking for minimal lines! And, if you’re looking for more to do when you’re there, check out the Art Walk in Disney Springs! Or, check out the Disney Springs restaurant that’s bringing the heat!

I’m at WDW now and it has been crazy everywhere you go. I’m hoping this week with most U.S. schools go back in session, I 🙏🏻 that the crowds die down even if we ts just a little. One less family = a little break. I tried to book my dining reservations right at 60 days, and to no surprise reservations were very had to get anywhere. I had to cancel my reservations for steak house 71, last night because I wasn’t feeling well, but unable to get a new reservation during the remainder of my trip. I guess I’ll have to try walk up for any restaurants for the week 😩. Can’t let this ruin the rest of my trip.
