Is there anything more American than a hot dog?
Disney is celebrating 4th of July with new merchandise, fireworks (duh), and some red, white, and blue and American takes on new treats and eats! We recently headed to Casey’s Corner in Magic Kingdom to try a new, limited-time 4th of July hot dog!
We’re trying the Chicago-style All Beef Hotdog from Casey’s Corner, which is an all beef hot dog, traditional “Chicago green” relish, pickles, and marinated diced tomatoes served on a potato bread bun.
You’ve really gotta like a ton of ingredients on top of your hot dogs to like this hot dog! The bun was fresh and moist, and the hot dog itself was hot, juicy, and had a great snap-factor.
The relish and tomatoes were fresh-tasting, and were a nice break from the savory and salty flavor from the hot dog. The relish was a bit spicy, so if you’re not a fan of spice this may not be the dog for you. But, if traditional Chicago-style hot dogs are your thing, we’d recommend giving this one a shot!
This hot dog is $11.99 and available at Casey’s Corner from now until August 11th.
This isn’t the only 4th of July offering available in Disney World though. There’s also the Berry Shortcake from Columbia Harbour House also in the Magic Kingdom, and you can read our review of that treat here!
If Chicago-style hot dogs aren’t your thing, Casey’s Corner has a myriad of other hot dogs for you to try, like the incredibly popular Corn Dog Nuggets, plus plain hot dogs, as well.

Jen says
No poppyseed bun? No Chicago dog! 😂
Donald Purney says
Holy cow! How much relish can someone eat?
This is not a Chicago style hot dog. The Chicago Style dog has a poppy seed bun with the dog, relish, sliced tomato and cucumber wedges, mustard and sport peppers.
This is a fantasy dreamt up by someone that has never had a Chicago style hot dog. There is a Portillo’s in Orlando. Go there and order a Chicago style hot dog to see what you are missing.
Donald Purney jr says
Oh yeah; and a slice of Dill pickle.
Thomas Michaels says
Sliced tomatoes.I like the idea of the potato bun.Seventy years in Chicago and I rarely order hot dogs the way I am told to do it.
Carol says
Where’s the onion and celery seed? And, as already mentioned, the poppy seed bun.
Annette Brown says
You also need, mustard, onion, pickle and giardiniera. And as Jen said the poppy seed bun. And although the neon green relish is mandatory that is a bit much!
Fredo Swarts says
Not a Chicago dog. This is a disgrace. What if I redesigned your traditional mascot as a blind rat missing an eye and several teeth, and called it Mickey-Style? And then sold pointy-eared hats for three times the price. Would you care?
