If you haven’t been watching for Disney news lately, you’ve got a LOT to catch up on!
HUGE EPCOT Food & Wine Festival news dropped this week, along with some massive updates on the airport train to Disney World, and a bunch of other things. Are you somewhere comfy? Are you ready to dive into all the latest and greatest Disney news? Good! Then let’s begin!
1 — EPCOT Food and Wine Festival Menus
This week Disney revealed the FULL food booth menus for EPCOT’s 2022 International Food & Wine Festival!
The menus include some returning classics (like the Schinkennudeln from the Germany booth, which is Pasta Gratin with Ham, Onions, and Cheese), as well as a whole bunch of brand NEW items.
New to the Festival this year is a booth dedicated to fries, a SPAM Musubi snack from Hawai’i, a new Pina Colada Funnel Cake, and SO much more!

2 — Disney Backs Out of Airport Train to Disney Springs
In big transportation news, Disney has backed out of the deal that would have created a Disney Springs station for the Brightline train coming to Orlando. That train would have connected Orlando International Airport to Disney Springs.
But Brightline isn’t giving up on getting guests close to Disney World just yet. It has since been revealed that the Brightline train is expected to get guests CLOSE to Disney World, with a station set to be built close to where the Disney Springs station would have been, albeit not on Disney property.
Of course, plans are subject to change. To make this new station, Brightline will have to find the right land to build on, and it hasn’t yet been revealed just how “close” this station will be to Disney, or how guests might be able to get from that station to Disney (other than by arranging for their own transportation). We’ll continue to keep an eye out for more details on all of that.

3 — Annual Passholder GLITCH
If you’ve been hoping to get an Annual Pass for Disney World, this week might have given you a tiny glimmer of hope. Earlier this week, a glitch appears to have occurred on the Disney World website regarding Annual Passes. For a brief few minutes, two more types of Annual Passes appeared to be on sale once again.
But after just a few minutes, both became unavailable. It’s the first big change we’ve seen in terms of Annual Passholder sales (albeit a short, glitch-filled one) in a long time. For now, most Annual Pass sales continue to be on hold for Disney World, but we’ll be sure to look for more updates in the future!

4 — More Disney Festival News!
If you think the only festivals that happen in Disney World are in EPCOT, you’d be WRONG! One seasonal festival/event that has returned over the last several years (and which will be returning again this year) is the Disney Springs Flavors of Florida festival/event!
Flavors of Florida will take place from July 5th through August 14th and the FULL list of event foods has been revealed by Disney.
There will be 44 limited-time food offerings available during the event, including Southern Fried Hand Pies at Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’, a Lime Garage Burger and Orange Bird Milkshake at D-Luxe Burger, a Citrus Dream Donut at Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew, and SO much more!
Get those stomachs ready — it sounds like you’ll have a LOT to snack on!
