Ever wanted to travel the world without leaving Florida? Okay, probably not necessarily, but it is pretty cool that you can visit a bunch of different countries in EPCOT at Disney World!
A lot has been going on at EPCOT lately — Flower and Garden Festival just ended, Food and Wine Festival is starting soon, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is finally open, and the transformation of the park continues. So, let’s check out what’s NEW in EPCOT!
EPCOT Food Updates
Fife and Drum Tavern
The American Dream popped up at Fife and Drum Tavern over in the American Adventure pavilion. This is a Frozen Fanta Wild Cherry, Vanilla Ice Cream, and Frozen Fanta Blue Raspberry Slushy.
This treat was very refreshing and cold, while not being overwhelmingly sweet. You can get it for $5.75.

Sunshine Seasons
At Sunshine Seasons in The Land pavilion, we tried out the new Red, White, and Blue Cake pops, which were only available through July 4th.
These red velvet cake pops are half red velvet cake and half vanilla cream, dipped in red- and blue-colored chocolate, and decorated with white chocolate and sprinkles. These were delightful little sweet treats!

Garden Grill
Also in The Land pavilion is Garden Grill, who just added a new menu item — Barbecue-roasted Chicken. Before, this meal came with All-Natural Sliced Turkey Breast with Turkey Gravy.
This chicken was kind of fatty and it is served bone-in, but it was cooked well and wasn’t dry at all. We also enjoyed the flavor of the barbecue sauce on top, but we do like the turkey that used to be here a bit better!

Connections Cafe
Over at Connections Cafe, the Liege Waffle got a patriotic makeover for the Fourth of July. It’s a Brioche Dough Waffle with Vanilla Icing around the edges, covered in Red, White, and Blue Sprinkles, then topped with a White Chocolate Mickey and Powdered Sugar.
We already love the Liege Waffle, so this dressier version was great too! But, the treat was only available through the 4th, so you’ll have to just get the regular Liege Waffle now (which is still delicious).

Regarding the pins, Mickey is not Robin Hood, although the hat does suggest that. Look closely and you’ll see his scissors! He’s portraying “The Brave Little Tailor,” an old fairy tale. Disney animated the story in 1938.
