Love dining with characters? Been missing those character dining experiences that haven’t yet returned to Disney World? Well, do we have news for you!
Crystal Palace
Disney has recently made some BIG changes when it comes to its restaurants. Menu overhauls have hit 50’s Prime Time Cafe and Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant, buffets are returning soon to Hollywood & Vine, and other changes have taken place. Soon, some big character meal changes will be hitting the resort too — and one place that’ll be impacted is Magic Kingdom!
Over at Magic Kingdom, you used to be able to have a character dining experience with Winnie the Pooh and friends at The Crystal Palace. But, that offering has been suspended since this spot reopened after the COVID-19 pandemic closures.
Slowly, The Crystal Palace has been returning to “normal.” It initially reopened with a family-style meal, but it has since returned to a buffet style spot. Still, the friendly faces of Winnie the Pooh and friends did not return. But soon, that’ll all change!

Disney has now announced that the friendship celebration will be BACK at Crystal Palace soon! Starting September 20th, 2022, some friends from the Hundred Acre Wood will be coming back to this restaurant!
Characters will be available for lunch and dinner at The Crystal Palace: A Buffet with Characters featuring Winnie the Pooh and Friends.

So if you’ve been hoping for the return of characters at this meet-and-greet spot, be sure to mark those calendars and book those reservations!

I wonder if they’ll be raising the price when the characters come back. As it is right now it’s a decently affordable sit down option in MK.
My absolutely favorite meal for any WDW trip is always breakfast at Crystal Palace. I love the crunchy Puffy French Toast. Do you know if that will be coming back? T.Y.

So they are back for dinner correct because my boyfriend is dying to go there and we are going in jan so I’d love to go there for dinner with him
