We’re at EPCOT’s 2022 Food & Wine Festival right now, trying out ALL of the tasty eats and bringing you full reviews of every booth! But it appears that this festival has hit a pretty BIG bump in the road.
Although most of the booths are open now and serving up all their delicious offerings, a few booths won’t open until next month. And one booth that was supposed to open today is STILL not ready to serve food! But those issues aren’t the problem we’re talking about… .
The NEW Food & Wine Festival booth this year is called Fry Basket, and its specialty is — you guessed it — French Fries! The menu shows a couple of options, including Adobo Yuca Fries ($5.50) and a Fry Flight, which has Sea Salt and Malt Vinegar Fries, Barbecued Bacon Fries, and Sweet Potato Casserole Fries for $7.50.
We recently stopped by this booth and picked up one of each (review coming soon!), but after we got our food we heard some shocking news from a nearby Cast Member! They told us that this French fry haven was…out of French fries!
Apparently, the new booth was so popular that they ran out of their signature dish! Luckily, the only fries that are missing now are the Adobo Yuca Fries, and they’re hoping to get a new shipment of ingredients in for those fries very soon. The Cast Member said they’re expecting more fries to be available later today at the festival. And you can still order that Fry Flight right now, with the 3 different flavors of fries.
UPDATE: We checked back later and a Cast Member informed us that the Adobo Yuca Fries are BACK. Now, all of the menu items are available once again.

Yuca fries are not made from potatoes. They are made from yuca. You mention they were waiting on potatoes to make the yuca fries. I figured you didn’t know. I can’t wait to have the yuca fries next weekend.
