Magic Kingdom
Walt Disney World Railroad
The Walt Disney World Railroad is continuing its years-long closure in this park. Disney hasn’t given any updates on when this ride could reopen, and it’s scheduled to be closed through mid-September at least (which is as far as the refurbishments calendar goes right now).

Part of the reason for this closure is construction in Tomorrowland on the upcoming TRON: Lightcycle Run roller coaster. The construction interrupted the tracks, which means the train can’t pass through. When TRON is completed, the train will pass through a tunnel in this area. Disney also hasn’t given an update on when the TRON coaster could be finished.
Enchanted Tales with Belle
The Enchanted Tales with Belle attraction is also closed in Magic Kingdom, and Disney hasn’t announced when it will reopen.

But don’t worry — you can still see Belle in Magic Kingdom! She’s usually at the front of the Festival of Fantasy Parade, which runs through Magic Kingdom daily at 12PM and 3PM.
Pete’s Silly Sideshow
Although many characters have returned to Magic Kingdom recently, one character meet-and-greet spot is still closed. Pete’s Silly Sideshow is going to open sometime “in the coming months,” according to Disney.

This location usually has Minnie, Daisy, Donald, and Goofy, although currently, guests can meet Minnie at Town Square Theater with Mickey!
Harmony Barber Shop
Harmony Barber Shop is still closed, but it will reopen at the end of this month, on July 31st.

Reservations for this experience are available now. Prices have increased a bit since it was last open, so check those out before you book your reservation.
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is also closed, but it’s scheduled to reopen on August 25th.

This salon transforms kids (ages 3 to 12) into Disney princesses and princes! Disney hasn’t released any updates about the pricing yet, but we’ll be sure to let you know when they do.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Voyage of the Little Mermaid
A couple of long-term closures are ongoing in this park, including the Voyage of the Little Mermaid show. This show has been closed for a long time, and Disney hasn’t revealed when or if it’ll return.

Instead, you can head to Magic Kingdom to find a different Little Mermaid-themed attraction — the Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid ride!
Fantasmic!
Fantasmic! is currently closed in Hollywood Studios, but it’s scheduled to return sometime this year.

When the show does return, guests will see a few changes such as new stunts and characters.

EPCOT
Canada Far & Wide in CircleVision 360
The 2022 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival started last week, and we’ve loved eating our way around the festival! One of the booths — the Appleseed Orchard booth — is set up in the theater where Canada Far & Wide in CircleVision 360 usually plays, so that attraction will be closed for the duration of the festival.

Although you can’t watch the Canada film, you can find some tasty festival snacks in this area, like an Apple Crumble Tart, Frozen Apple Pie Drinks, and Cinnamon Apple Cider.

Disney World Hotels
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort
Victoria & Albert’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort is going to be closed for all of next week. This spot will reopen the following week on July 28th, and reservations are available now.

Blizzard Beach
Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park is closed, and we don’t know yet when this park could reopen.
Cross Country Creek at Blizzard Beach
If you’re looking for a spot to cool off at Disney World, you can head to Typhoon Lagoon — Disney World’s other water park. There, you’ll find a lazy river, several slides, and some new snacks to try.

My thoughts on Disney World is I loved it back in 2017 and before. Now in 2022 I still would like to go back. But now in 2022 I do not like it very much if at all. Money hungry company executives have taken the rein and Walt Disneys dream has died. I still would like to visit one last time even though they have ruined it. I would like to recapture that awe I had the first time in 2013 I had .
My wife was a quadriplegic. I cared for her at home for 17 years. Traveling was always extremely difficult. The only place that we could safely and confidently travel to was Disney World. I wrote a memoir “From Death’s Door to Disney World “. Kathy passed away in 2018 . The facilities and services for the disabled are fantastic. I agree with you Barbara. Disney has lost a lot of its Magic. I miss the Fast Passes and the Dining Plans plus the fact that it was once affordable for most families. I live in FL and I know of many families who can’t afford to go there anymore especially with the high price of gas and inflation. I continue to go only to support Walt’s dream.
We will be visiting probably for the last time in Oct-Nov. Wanted to go for the 50th but will not return again unless things change for the better.
