Disney+ has been cranking out the content, from new Marvel series to Pixar movies.
We’ve seen Marvel and Star Wars shows debut on the streaming service, as well as other original content. But, Disney+ also adds movies and TV shows onto its platform that weren’t made exclusively for Disney, like other content they have acquired over the years. And recently, 3 NEW movies were added to Disney+!
Disney acquired 20th Century Fox (now 20th Century Studios) in 2019, and with it, they got a bunch of their intellectual properties, like the Simpsons and the X-Men. We’ve seen some of this media be added to Disney+, but there has been some content that’s remained off of the streaming service due to it being R-rated.
However, Disney recently updated its parental controls so they could include more mature content with ratings for adults, like shows Daredevil and Jessica Jones, which are rated TV-MA.
So, it was only a matter of time until more content with mature ratings were added. And now, 3 of them are available to stream on Disney+. The R-rated movies being added to the platform are Deadpool…
…Deadpool 2…
…and Logan!
We’ve seen other X-Men movies on Disney+ for a while, but none of them were rated R. We’ll be interested to see if other films like this get added to the streaming service.
This is NOT a drill. 🚨 Marvel’s #Deadpool, #Deadpool2, and #Logan are coming to #DisneyPlus tomorrow! (1/3) pic.twitter.com/krh7U28b4E

This adds to the vast amount of superhero movies on Disney+ already, including most of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the X-Men movies. There are also more Marvel shows in the works, like the upcoming She-Hulk, Secret Invasion, and I Am Groot.

And Disney believes kids can’t hack the parental controls. Disney won’t be in our home any longer, at all. Very sad.
