MagicBand+ — the next generation of MagicBands — is officially arriving in Disney World tomorrow. But even if you won’t be in the parks, you can get one of the new MagicBands at Disney’s online store, shopDisney. And now we know WHEN those bands will be available.

MagicBand+ bands will have all the same features as normal MagicBands, plus a few new features like being able to interact with the gold 50th Anniversary statues around Disney World. If you’re hoping to use one of these bands on your next trip, you’ll need to know how to get one. Get your alarms ready, because we’ve got the official time that MagicBand+ will arrive online.
Disney has announced that MagicBand+ bands will arrive online at shopDisney beginning at 7AM PT (that’s 10AM EST), tomorrow, July 27th. When Disney accidentally released MagicBand+ a little bit early in Disney Springs, those bands sold out very quickly, so it’s possible that the online bands will also go fast. For the best chance of getting one, we recommend being ready to shop right when they’re released.

shopDisney may utilize an online waiting room, like they do with other big merchandise releases. If that’s the case, you can expect to wait for a little while (usually no more than 10 to 15 minutes in our experience, although this time it could be longer) before you’re able to actually purchase a MagicBand+.

Kind of a bummer here. I just got this notice in my email box at 06:34 and the band I wanted was already sold out… I want to swear at someone but this is a G-rate environment 🙂
I logged on to ShopDisney this morning at 5:45 EST and it redirected me to the Disney World website, where I purchased my 3 MagicBand+ without a problem. I had been waiting the last three months for them to finally come up. Something just told me to treat it like I was making a restaurant reservation. I believe there are some now on the ShopDisney website, but they weren’t there when I looked early monrning. Hopefully everyone was able to get their bands!
I’ve got a trip upcoming in September and I was able to easily purchase MagicBand+ this morning from MyDisneyExperience. A benefit is that they are on sale. Plain ones are 24.99 and special ones are 34.99. That’s a savings of about $10 each. I think I’ll take the savings and buy a couple of drinks at Oga’s Cantina.

Not true! I got my DisneyMagic+ band last night at 12:30 am PST on 7/27/22!! Booyeah! But I think it cause I already have a Galactic Starcruiser reservation thats coming up in Sept 😉 haha
We got ours on order.
I got on the MDE site last night at 12:13 am CT (when the date changed to 7/27) and it let me order mine! I was so excited! Don’t know if it was a glitch or not, but Yay! I just ordered regular colors, not the fancy ones. So glad I got that worry over with, lol

Yes, they dropped around midnight central time for MDE. I got mine at 1am Eastern Standard time.
