EPCOT’s 2022 Food & Wine Festival is in full swing right now, and we’ve had a great time trying out ALL of the eats and deciding which ones are the BEST. From Mimosa Flights to Piña Colada Funnel Cakes, Fried Cheese to Filet Mignon, there’s a LOT to love about this EPCOT festival. But there are a couple of not-so-great things about the festival as well.
One thing we’ve noticed as we taste our way around the festival is that many of the food booths and menu items are the same as last year, but the prices are DIFFERENT. Has EPCOT’s Food & Wine Festival gotten MORE expensive this year? We did the math, and we have the answer.
It’s not a new thing that EPCOT festivals are getting more expensive. And it’s definitely not a new thing that Disney World in general is getting more expensive. In fact, last year we examined the prices at EPCOT’s Flower & Garden Festival and discovered a similar trend of price increases.
But exactly how MUCH more does the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival cost this year when compared to last year’s festival? We’re taking a look at EPCOT ticket prices, food and drink prices, and merchandise prices to see how much more you’ll spend in 2022. Let’s get started!
Ticket Prices
The first thing you’ll need if you’re planning a trip to this year’s Food & Wine Festival is an EPCOT park ticket (and park pass reservation, of course). Since the festival takes place inside this park, you’ll need to pay admission in order to access all the food booths.
Both the 2021 and 2022 festivals began in July — in 2021 it started on July 15th, and in 2022 it started on July 14th. An EPCOT park ticket for the starting date of the festival in 2021 cost $114. For most of the rest of this month, tickets cost between $112 and $116 for 1 day.
Ticket prices did increase in 2022. For the first day of the 2022 Food & Wine Festival, an EPCOT ticket cost $129 ($15 more than in 2021). Most of the rest of July has 1-day tickets between $129 and $134, with a couple of days at $139. That’s a price increase of between $13 and $22 per day.
July is a pretty busy time of year in Disney World, though, so it’s possible that the price differences won’t be quite so apparent during non-peak times. We took a look at September ticket prices as well, as the Food & Wine Festival is still going on this month (it ended on November 20th in 2021 and will end on November 19th in 2022) but Disney World parks tend to be less busy.
In 2021, EPCOT ticket prices for September were between $109 and $138. Only one day had a $138 price tag, though, and 14 days were available for $109. Most Tuesday – Thursday tickets were $109, with the weekends costing a bit more, between $120 and $132.
EPCOT tickets for September 2022 also start at $109, but the high end of the range goes up to $144 ($6 more than in 2021). Most Saturdays cost $139 in 2022, compared to most Saturdays in 2021 costing $132. And most Sundays in 2022 are $134, compared to $126 in 2021. However, if you’re visiting on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, you can likely still get in for $109.
So depending on which day of the week you’re visiting, you could see a price increase of $20 or more on your EPCOT park ticket. The month of July saw more price increases than September. If you’re visiting on a weekday (Monday through Thursday at least) in September, you can still get a ticket for the same price as in 2021.
Now that we know how much more a park ticket is going to cost, let’s take a look at those eats and drinks.
Food and Drink Prices
Most of the snacks and drinks around the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival will cost between $4 and $10, with some cocktails and other drinks costing more. This has been true at both the 2021 and 2022 Food & Wine Festivals, but many menu items have increased in price within that range.
Here’s a look at a few examples of things that have increased in price and others that have stayed the same. So far, we haven’t noticed any price decreases for returning menu items in 2022.
At the Alps booth, you can find a few varieties of Warm Raclette Swiss Cheese and various sides. One returning combination is pairing the cheese with baby potatoes, cornichons, and a baguette. In 2021, this combination cost $4.50. In 2022, however, the price increased by $0.50 to $5.
Speaking of cheesy snacks, we had the Pão de Queijo (Brazilian cheese bread) at the Brazil booth both years as well. This snack actually remained at the same price both years, costing $4.75.
By contrast, one of our favorite booths, the France booth, got a price increase. The Beignet aux Trois Fromages (a warm beignet filled with a three cheese blend) increased in price from $5.75 in 2021 to $6 in 2022.
And the Apple Crumble Tart (found at the Appleseed Orchard booth in the Canada pavilion) also got a $0.25 price increase, from $4.50 in 2021 to $4.75 in 2022. The Frozen Apple Pie drink, however, stayed the same price at $4.50.
Over at the Australia food booth, we saw a fairly significant price increase of $0.50 on the Grilled Sweet and Spicy Bush Berry Shrimp, which was $6 in 2021 but is now $6.50.
The Brew-Wing booth, however, kept prices the same for all of the wings and the Brussel Sprouts dish as well. Wings here will cost you $7.50 a plate — the same as in 2021.
Many of the beer and cider stayed the same price around the festival, with most booths offering 6 oz. pours for $5 and 12 oz. pours for $9. This is the same as 2021.
One of the most popular dishes at the festival is the “Le Cellier” Wild Mushroom Beef Filet Mignon with truffle-butter sauce at the Canada booth, which is a smaller portion of the steak you can get at the table-service restaurant. This dish increased from $8.75 in 2021 to $9.25 in 2022.
Some cocktails saw price increases as well, such as the ByeJoe Punch at the China booth. This drink cost $11.75 in 2021, but this year it’s $12.50 (with the same ingredients).
One of the most popular booths at this year’s festival (and last year’s as well) is the Shimmering Sips booth, which is famous for its Mimosas. Each of the Mimosas this year was $0.25 more expensive than in 2021 ($6.50 this year compared to $6.25 in 2021), and the Mimosa Flight went from $13 in 2021 to $14 in 2022.
Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Co. creates some specialty drinks for the festival, with a different one at each Joffrey’s location in EPCOT. In both 2021 and 2022, these drinks all cost $6.39 for the non-boozy version. If you choose to add alcohol to the drink, however, the cost increases. In 2021, the cost increased to $12.99. In 2022, though, the cost increased to $13.39.
After all of those examples, we can conclude that there were MANY price increases across the festival menus, with most increases being between $0.25 and $1.
To make sure that you don’t accidentally spend more than you’re planning at the Food & Wine Festival, we recommend you get a Disney gift card and load it with your budgeted amount. That way you’ll know exactly how much you spent on food and drinks, and you won’t be able to go over your budget.

Merchandise Prices
But the menus aren’t the only place where you’ll see price increases — they’re in the gift shops as well! The EPCOT Food & Wine Festival brings all kinds of new merchandise to this park. This year, there’s a new Princess Tiana collection, a Mickey & Minnie collection, some Figment merchandise, and more.
Several items are staples in the Food & Wine merchandise collections. For example, you’ll often see magnets, pins, cups, and t-shirts. Let’s see how these items compare in price between 2021 and 2022.
First of all, the Food & Wine Spirit Jersey remained the same price — $74.99 — between 2021 and 2022.
The Festival MagicBand, however, saw a big price increase from $34.99 in 2021 to $39.99 in 2022.
The themed Minnie ear headband cost $29.99 in both 2021 and 2022, so that price remained the same.
The price of pins can vary, depending on which collection they’re part of, how big they are, etc. But the price range for Food & Wine Festival pins in 2021 was about $15.99 to $19.99. In 2022, the price range for pins is $17.99 to $19.99. So although the higher price in that range stayed the same, there were no pins available for less than $17.99 this year.
And finally, the biggest price increase we saw for anything at the Food & Wine Festival in EPCOT this year was the Dooney & Bourke Food & Wine Festival Crossbody Bag. This purse cost $198 in the 2021 collection, but this year it’s $50 more at $248.
Overall, it looks like there were at least small price increases across the 2022 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival. While those changes might not be more than about $1 on the menu items, they could add up quickly if you’re planning to buy several things. And bigger price increases can be found both on EPCOT park tickets and on the Food & Wine Festival merchandise collections.
