When it comes to things at Disney World, change is inevitable.
Things close, new rides open, new snacks arrive, and restaurant menus are constantly getting updated. Speaking of which, an EPCOT restaurant just recently had quite a few changes on its menu.
Teppan Edo, over in the Japan Pavilion, has had some updates to its menu recently. One thing that we immediately noticed when looking at the updated menu is that the entire Wine section of the menu seems to be gone now. Here’s everything that was removed:

Have you actually been here to confirm this is not a mistake. This is the same menu as Tokoyo dining and seeing theybare owned by the same company I wouldn’t believe this is truly the menu
Grasshopper says
This is just the Tokyo dining menu. Disney has changed the Teppan Edo dinner menu to be the same as the Tokyo Dining dinner menu — with no teppanyaki table cooking at all. (The lunch menu is unchanged.)
This might seem to just be a glitch of some sort. But Disney has just changed people’s upcoming Teppan Edo dinner reservations to Tokyo Dining reservations. With no warning or announcement.
Infuriating!
Julia says
This is strange, since the menu listed for lunch still appears the same as before, but the dinner menu has changed to another restaurants completely. I’m wondering if this is a glitch?
Robert E Klixbull says
Looks to me if you go to the website that all of the dinners are now only listed on the Lunch Menu. Seems like some one mixed them up.
Mark Faron says
Well, guess I have had my last meal at this wonderful establishment. Always looked forward to dining here.

Same question as previous poster

Going for dinner tonight. Talked to staff at noon today. They said the website for the menu is not correct. The dinner menu is the same as the old one.
A. Stradley says
I hope this is a glitch!! If anyone goes there please let us know!! I have reservations in September and will change them if this IS the new new menu!
Tom C says
All has changed back now to the original menu!
I had a reservation for mid-August which mysteriously changed to Tokyo Dining, so I cancelled as we were going for the hibachi grill…
Then after looking up Teppan Edo by chance on the app, the menu is back to what it was and luckily I’ve snagged a reservation again for the same date, just lunch rather than dinner!!
Chantelle says
The dinner menu is missing completely now
CRT says
Teppan Edo is now open only for lunch. This is a disappointing change, and it’s going to make it even more difficult to get a dining reservation for Teppan Edo. I don’t care for Tokyo Dining that much since we don’t eat Sushi or Sushimi. I hope that Teppan Edo goes back to be open for dinner at some point in the future.
