The MagicBand+ has officially debuted in Disney World!

Disney World’s new MagicBand+ does all the things your old MagicBand does but it adds on some new perks like haptics, gesture recognition, lights, and more. We’ve been exploring all the features throughout Disney World (the good, the bad, and the glitchy) and it’s no secret that these bands are on the pricier side. We already found one way to save on your MagicBand+ purchase and now there’s another way to save — but not everyone qualifies!
Calling all Disney World Annual Passholders! If you visit Disney World’s website while signed into your Annual Passholder account, you can save $10 on your choice of MagicBand+ as long as you have an upcoming Disney Park Pass reservation! All you have to do is click on the My Disney Experience tab to access My MagicBands and Cards.

Once you get to that page, scroll down until you come to this screen. If you click Get Started, you can place your MagicBand+ order! Note that you can also request to have your MagicBand+ customized with your name, and you can purchase up to 6 days before your Park Pass reservation.

You can choose a MagicBand+ for each eligible Annual Passholder in your party, and you can also decline a MagicBand for individuals if you don’t want to purchase one for everyone.

All the available MagicBand+s are sold at a discount for Annual Passholders, with plain-colored bands for sale at $24.99 and special designs at $34.99. Regular price, the MagicBands+ sells for $34.99 and $44.99, respectively. Note that you can still purchase a regular MagicBand too, which range in price from $10 to $25, depending on the design.

You can read the step-by-step process here. Remember that you need a Park Pass reservation before you’re eligible to purchase a discounted MagicBand+ as an Annual Passholder! You must place your order 6 or more days before your reservation. Disney World hotel guests can also qualify for this MagicBand+ discount as long as they place their order 6 or more days before their hotel reservation.

There are lots of different MagicBand+ designs available, and you can shop for them both in Disney World and online. If you’re not an Annual Passholder, you can still purchase them on shopDisney at full price!

…and this Fireworks MagicBand+. Each of these designs costs $44.99 regular price, but if you’re an Annual Passholder you can order either of these designs for $34.99 each.

Note that if you’re an Annual Passholder with an upcoming hotel reservation you actually have the option to place TWO orders for MagicBand+s at a discount — one order for your hotel reservation and one as an Annual Passholder. But either way, you’re limited to ONE MagicBand+ per eligible guest — you can’t order five MagicBand+ designs for yourself.
