So, yes, you can have a fun Disney-themed stay without staying at Disney World — not only will you save on accommodations, but you’ll also be able to cook your own meals and save money on dining, too. Just keep in mind that staying off property means you’ll have to pay for parking when you visit Disney World’s theme parks, so there is an additional cost to keep in mind.
If you aren’t driving to Disney World, you’ll need to make arrangements for transportation — whether that be renting a car or using a rideshare service, which could add even more expenses to your trip.

Considering you have to pay to park at the hotels, which isn’t that much cheaper than parking at the parks it’s not that much of an issue and the charging for hotel parking will be driving a lot of guests to look at rentals outside of Disney now
