It’s almost Halloween, everyone!
Okay, maybe it’s not almost Halloween for everyone, but it sure is for Disney! Spooky festivities begin EARLY for Disney — we’ve already seen a ton of merchandise, decorations are up, and we know lots of details about the things coming for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Speaking of the party, it’s coming back this year for the first time since 2019, and it’s bringing some dessert parties back with it. Heads up: You can book your reservation for the dessert parties RIGHT NOW!
Reservations are NOW OPEN for the fireworks dessert parties at Mickey’s Not-S0-Scary Halloween Party!
These dessert parties happen during the fireworks show at the party, which is called Mickey’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular. If you attend a dessert party, you get a reserved spot for the show as well as some snacks and drinks to enjoy.
There are actually 2 different parties this year — one at Tomorrowland Terrace and one in the Plaza Gardens. The Tomorrowland Terrace party will have reserved seating, and the one in the Plaza Gardens will have a reserved area for standing. Remember, these parties are NOT included with your ticket to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party — they are add-ons and will cost extra. Advanced reservations are recommended for both parties.
Let’s talk more about the individual parties — The Tomorrowland Terrace party is $115 for adults (guests ages 10 and older) and $69 for kids (ages 3 to 9). Here are some more details:
- Includes a buffet of treats and drinks at Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant
- Treats include chocolate-dipped strawberries, cupcakes, seasonal fruits, cheeses, and other “ghoulish goodies”
- Drinks are sparkling beverages, signature lemonades, coffee, and tea; beer and wine will be available to guests ages 21 and over
- Reserved seating in the dining room of the Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant
- Event dates: August 12th, 16th, 19th, 23rd, 26th, and 30th; September 2nd, 5th, 9th, 11th, 13th, 16th, 18th, 20th, 23rd, 25th, 27th, 29th, and 30th; October 2nd, 4th, 6th, 7th, 10th, 11th, 13th, 14th, 16th, 18th, 20th, 21st, 23rd, 25th, 27th, 28th, 30th, and 31st

It looks like not all the dates are available yet, do these parties follow the 60 day rule of the other dining reservations?
Geoff says
Well tried to book the garden party for the 7th October, tried on line and got no where apart from a loop of going to different places, then tried phoning, after 1 hour 15 minutes, got through, only to find that October is not released yet, so they do not know when. Travelling from the UK for the first time in 3 years, I rally hope we get a spot

I did the After-Fireworks Dessert Party in October, but not with the after-hours Halloween thing. Thank God it wasn’t running that day, or I wouldn’t have gone to MK.
We loved the Dessert Party and comfort and convenience of watching the fireworks from the Tomorrowland Terrance lawn, and the food offerings were fantastic. Absolutely delicious.
But to pay big bucks for this Halloween “event”…just a few limited hours of park time to begin with this…and then spend even more big money for the dessert party!? That’s a special kind of wasting your money for no reason at all thing.
I wonder what Disney has up their sleeves next? Charging you by your WEIGHT!?
Our APs expire in October and we’re going to WDW and Universal for a week at the end of September, but we won’t be renewing our WDW AP’s.

Yes. Same 60-day rule for reservations for the Dessert Party.
As I posted elsewhere, the Dessert Party is incredible. But it makes no sense to do it on these Halloween nights. Do the math!!!
You’ll be spending over $200 a person for just 4 hours! And two of those hours wasted missing out on the event and just eating desserts plus a good fireworks view!
I simply don’t know what the hell Disney is thinking with this stuff. Those of us who live here and go often know the deal, so it just seems like they’re trying to rip off the people who don’t know better and can only get here rarely because of where they live.
