Being in Disney World and finding that one of your must-do rides is CLOSED can be a huge disappointment.

That’s why we work to provide you with all of the latest information about refurbishments and construction going on in the parks. In just the next few weeks we’ll see a Frozen-themed show close temporarily, the closure of a show in Animal Kingdom, and work done on other construction projects. But now there’s something else to add to your list of closures to be aware of.
At Magic Kingdom, the Liberty Square Riverboat (a boat ride you can go on that takes you around the Rivers of America) shows operating hours from now through August 21st, 2022.

But, it stops showing operating hours on August 22nd and doesn’t show operating hours for the next few days.

The closure appears to be short, however, as the ride shows operating hours once again on September 2nd.

If going on the Riverboat is something you and your family look forward to, be sure to keep this temporary closure in mind.

I had to buy a mobility scooter because it was impossible for me to get from one end of the park to the other…and back again…and wash and repeat…
In order to get to my dining reservations and paid individual Lightning Lane choices on time!
Where do I find out park fireworks times, closures, etc. I’ve been going to the park calendars https://www.disneyworld.co.uk/calendars/five-day/ and there’s nothing showing in the fireworks and parades times, etc. and no refurbs either. Not even for today. Am I missing something?

There aren’t any fireworks today for regular park pass holders…and for many days…because MK closes early for their separately ticketed Halloween event. THAT event has fireworks.
If you look on other days where it doesn’t close early for this, they’ll show the fireworks time.
You have to really plan your trip so you DON’T visit on one of these Halloween days, unless you want to spend an extra hundred bucks to enter!
