If you don’t already have Disney+ Day marked in your calendars, pull those planners and phones out right now so you can write down this date.

September 8th, 2022 is when Disney+ Day will take place this year. Last year, Disney+ Day brought some special perks, premieres of new movies and shows on Disney+, and more. This year, some similar experiences will be coming back and now we’ve got news about a VERY special Disney+ subscriber perk!
If you’re a Disney+ Subscriber and you’re heading to Walt Disney World or Disneyland on September 8th, get READY! On September 8th, ALL Disney+ subscribers will get the chance to enter ANY of the theme parks at Disneyland or Walt Disney World 30 minutes before the regular park opening. Park Passes and valid tickets to the park you want to visit are still required so keep that in mind.
Get in Early!
If you’ll be staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel or one of the hotels of Disneyland Resort, the existing early entry offering for hotel guests will be even sweeter. On September 8th, those staying at select Disney World Resort Hotels or the Disneyland Resort hotels will get to enter the park of their choice 60 (!) minutes before the regular park opening time. Again, valid park tickets and a Park Pass for the park you want to enter are required. (This is for all eligible hotel guests, not just those who are Disney+ subscribers.)
This is similar to the early entry perk offered last year for Disney+ Day. Getting into the parks 30 or 60 minutes early could really help you get on some of those popular rides or some of your must-do attractions before the bigger crowds arrive, so it’s a perk you won’t want to miss out on!
Disney+ Day 2021
But wait, there’s MORE! In addition to the early entry perks, Disney+ subscribers will also get FREE Disney PhotoPass photo downloads at select spots in Disney’s Hollywood Studios (in Walt Disney World) and the theme parks at Disneyland Resort on September 8th.
Be sure to look for the spots that qualify for these FREE downloads!

Disney+ Day will also bring with it some special Disney+ character meet-and-greets and cavalcades at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, plus “surprises” during the day. There will also be Disney+ movie screenings at the Disney World hotels for their Movie Under the Stars offerings.
At Disneyland Resort, Disney+ Day will also bring some commemorative chalk, special photo ops, a special movie screening at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa for Disneyland Resort hotel guests, blue snacks (like blue-dusted churros), and blue cocktails too.
Disney+ 2021
Digitally, fans can join in on the fun by checking out Disney PhotoPass Lenses for Disney+ Day. Limited-time lenses will be available through Snapchat in the U.S. and the My Disney Experience app.
There will also be specialty items at Disneyland Paris, and gifts from Disney+ on the Disney Vacation Club Member cruise that takes place starting on August 29th.

Some new movies and shows will also premiere on Disney+ on that day. We can’t wait to see what else is announced for Disney+ Day.

Hi Julie! When I was there last year all I had to do was pull the app up on my phone to show them I was a subscriber.
Did they do this last year? Oddly enough, that’s the day I’m going to Hollywood studios and am also a Disney plus subscriber. Excited and scared at the same time on if it’s going to be super crowded because of this.
does any one know if their will be any discounts for DVC or Annual Pass holders. they gave a speical price for signing up for three years and mine is about to expire.
This is not a huge perk. This is, at best, a moderate perk if you’re there for that day. This is pretty stupid and cheap actually. If they want to give a perk to subscribers, it should be available for use on at least any one park day so you can use it when you’re there. Since I won’t be there, I just miss out.
Quick question DFB. Is this perk only for September 8th for Disney+ subscribers? What about September 10 or 11th?
