We’re celebrating Disney Princesses this week the only way we know how — with FOOD!
It’s officially World Princess Week in Disney World, and we’ve been indulging in all the new princess-themed treats we can find. We’ve already had snacks inspired by Moana, Anna & Elsa, and Aurora, but now we’re trying a snack dedicated to the fairest one of them all — Snow White!
So let’s head on over to Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs to try the Snow White 85th Anniversary Petit Cake. This is a Vanilla Chiffon Cake layered with Apple Mousse and Cinnamon Mousse with White Chocolate Crunch Pearls, and it’s topped with a Whipped Frosting and Yellow Fondant. Brace yourself — this little cake will set you back $22.
Now, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen a princess-themed mini cake in Disney World. We fell in love with the Tiana cake from Amorette’s last year, and we just recently tried a Moana mini cake from Capt. Cook’s! Can Snow White’s treat measure up? With a price like that, we certainly have high expectations.
We ordered the cake to go, and it came all wrapped up like a present.
We opened it to find the beautifully decorated cake inside its own box.
So is this little cake worth the price? Well…it’s complicated. The portion that you get is pretty generous, and we think that a few people can share it, especially if you just want a few bites each.
It’s a very beautiful cake — several people stopped to ask us where we’d gotten it while we were taking photos! So if your main goal is to find the next gorgeous treat for your social feed, this will definitely fit the bill.
This little cake also tastes delicious. The cake itself is light and fluffy, and the apple and cinnamon mousses are delicate but still carry strong flavors. The crispy pearls add some great texture and set off the rest of the soft cake very well. Although the cake was light and refreshing to eat, it still tasted like fall because of those apple cinnamon flavors.
However, $22 for this little cake is a LOT. The Moana cake at Capt. Cook’s that was about the same size was only $7, although it wasn’t quite as intricately decorated or tasty as this one. We also didn’t love the fondant on the outside of this Snow White cake, as it made it more difficult to cut through the cake and eat it and the sugary flavor is not as delicate as the rest of the cake.
If you’re really craving fall flavors and want a gorgeous treat, this is PERFECT. However, if you want a more budget-friendly dessert, there are plenty of better choices in Disney Springs. Check out some of our recommendations here!

These treats will be available all week, so you can head over to Disney Springs to try this one if you think the cake lives up to its price tag. We’ll be posting reviews of ALL the special snacks, too, so be sure to follow us here at DFB.
Don’t forget that you can also still get the 50th Anniversary Celebration Petit Cake from Amorette’s, and you’ll want it just for the Insta-worthy photos alone (it’s GORGEOUS).
