And just like that…another week has come and gone in Disney World!
This week brought a lot of changes to Disney World. For example, Genie+ got a small — but important! — update that will make it easier to remember when it’s time to make another selection, the Disney World Annual Passholder merchandise discount got an increase, and the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique has finally reopened, too. With August almost over (can you believe how fast it flew by?), September is just around the corner, so let’s take a look at what you need to know about Disney World park hours and Park Pass Reservation availability next week (8/28-9/3).
Magic Kingdom Park Hours
Let’s start with Magic Kingdom! On August 28th, 29th, and 31st, Magic Kingdom is open from 9AM-11PM. On August 30th, however, the park is open from 8AM-6PM because Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is scheduled from 7PM-12AM that night. Magic Kingdom will also have Extended Evening Hours for select Disney World Resort hotel guests on August 31st from 11PM-1AM.
On September 1st and September 3rd, Magic Kingdom will be open from 9AM-11PM.
On September 2nd, however, the park will once again have reduced hours from 8AM-6PM for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
EPCOT Park Hours
From August 28th to August 31st, EPCOT will be open from 8:30AM-9PM. There will be Extended Evening Hours on August 29th from 9PM-11PM.
EPCOT’s hours remain the same for the rest of the week and the park will be open from 8:30AM-9PM from September 1st-3rd.
As a reminder, guests with tickets that have the Park Hopper add-on can park hop beginning at 2PM until the park closes every day.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios Park Hours
Disney’s Hollywood Studios also has the same hours every day next week as it is open from 8:30AM-9PM from August 28th-31st…
…and from September 1st-3rd, as well.
Hollywood Studios and EPCOT have the same hours next week, which could be beneficial if you’re planning to park hop between the two.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park Hours
And finally, we come to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Animal Kingdom is open from 8AM-8PM on August 28th, but from August 29th-31st, it is only open from 8AM-7PM.
September 1st is the same with the park only open from 8AM-7PM.
The hours return to 8AM-8PM on September 2nd and 3rd, however.
Park Pass Reservation Availability
Let’s take a look at Park Pass Reservation Availability for next week! For Theme Park Ticketholders, all parks are completely available from August 18th-31st.
The same is true for the rest of the week, as well, with all parks available for Theme Park Tickets from September 1st-September 3rd.
The Park Pass Reservation availability situation looks pretty much the same for Select Resort Hotels, as well. All parks are available at the beginning of next week…
…and at the end of next week, too.
So if you haven’t yet made your Park Pass Reservation for next week, you should be good to go! Let’s take a look at the availability for Disney World Annual Passes.
First up is the Incredi Pass. The Incredi Pass has wide open availability for next week (and for lots of weeks after that, too)!
The Sorcerer Pass also has wide open Park Pass Reservation availability for next week.
The Pirate Pass has open availability until Saturday, September 3rd when guests with that pass are blocked out and not able to go to the parks. This blockout is due to Labor Day the following Monday and individuals with the Pirate Pass aren’t able to visit the parks from September 3rd-September 5th.
And lastly, we have the Pixie Dust Pass! Guests who have the Pixie Dust Pass are blocked out and not able to visit the parks on the weekends, but the weekday availability is wide open next week.
And that’s what the Disney World park hours and Park Pass Reservation availability looks like for next week! If you’re heading to Disney World soon, you should be aware of the recent changes that were made to the Park Pass Reservation system. You are now able to book park reservations for more than one type of ticket at a time, and some ticket types are able to modify their Park Pass without having to completely cancel it.
