One of our favorite places to eat in Disney Springs is The Polite Pig.
After all, this is where we first discovered the joy that is Gideon’s Bakehouse cookies. But we also love the seasonal sides, as well as the delicious BBQ meats. However, some updates have just hit the menu at The Polite Pig, so let’s take a look at the changes!
The first changes we’ve noticed are under Shareables:
- Hop Salt Pretzel increased from $9 to $10
- Polite Rub Chicken Wings
- ADDED: Glazed Chicken Wings — apple cider, bourbon, sorghum, chili for $16
- Burnt Ends BBQ Meatballs is now just listed as BBQ Meatballs and price increased from $12 to $13
- Slider Trio increased from $15 to $18
Here are the updates we’re seeing under “From The Smoker”:
- Half Chicken increased from $17 to $19
- Cedar Plank Salmon increased from $22 to $26
- Pork Shoulder is now Polite Pork Shoulder and price increased from $16 to $18
- USDA Prime Brisket increased from $19 to $22
- REMOVED:Â Baby Back Ribs
- ADDED: BBQ Cheddar Brats — porter mustard glaze served with Jalapeño Cornbread, Signature Polite Slaw. and choice of one Market Side for $18
- REMOVED:Â BBQ Cheddar Sausage
- Smoked Turkey Breast increased from $17 to $18
- ADDED: Layla’s Ribs — Polite Rub, Layla’s Sweet BBQ served with Jalapeño Cornbread, Signature Polite Slaw. and choice of one Market Side for $26
- Butcher Board (For 2) increased from $39 to $44 and option to add ribs increased from $6 to $7
Under Sandwiches, the following changes have been made:
- Southern Pig increased from $12 to $13
- Smoked Chicken Salad Wrap is now made with spinach, roasted tomatoes, dried cherries, sunflower seeds, avocado purée served with a Pickle Spear and price increased from $11 to $12
- Low & Slow Brisket increased from $14 to $15
- Fried Chicken increased from $12 to $13
Desserts at The Polite Pig have also seen some changes:
- Bourbon on the Rocks Cookie is now called Bourbon Chocolate Chip Cookie
- ADDED: Key Lime Pie for $7
Now let’s talk about beverages because we’re seeing some changes there, too! Here’s what’s been updated under Beer and Wine:
- REMOVED: Red Cypress Spook Hill Pale Ale and Cigar City Florida Cracker
- ADDED: Trucks and Trains Pale Ale for $9 per glass and $27 per pitcher
- ADDED: Saison de Cochon for $9 per glass and $27 per pitcher
- REMOVED:Â Yuengling and Angry Orchard Cider
- ADDED: Stella Artois and Woodchuck Cider for $9 per glass and $27 per pitcher
- ADDED: High Noon for $5
Prices for Small Batch Cocktails increased from $11 per glass and $27 per pitcher to $12 per glass and $29 per pitcher. Here are the other cocktail changes:
- ADDED:Â Whiskey Sour
- REMOVED:Â Bees Knees
- REMOVED:Â Smoked Passion Fruit Margarita
Menu changes like this happen all the time in Disney World, so we always recommend to check menus on either the Disney World website or My Disney Experience app so you don’t get any surprises during your next trip.

Many of these changes were already current on the Polite Pig’s own website. When we went and reviewed them a couple of weeks ago, the cashier explained that Disney hadn’t updated their menu on MDE for quite some time! I now know to always use the restaurant’s website if they have one instead of relying on MDE.
