It’s back — it’s really back!
We’ve had a lot to celebrate recently, thanks to the return of traditional character meet-and-greets, character dining, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, and more. And now, over in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we’re celebrating the return of buffets at Hollywood & Vine!
Who doesn’t love a good buffet? (Answer: no one — we hope.) The buffets at Hollywood & Vine have finally returned, and our stomachs are happier for it. The Breakfast Buffet has returned with offerings like Brioche French Toast with Banana Foster Sauce, Salmon and Bagel Casserole, and Plant-based Frittata with tomato jam.
For the Lunch and Dinner Buffets, they offer items like Plant-based Roasted Mushroom Farro Risotto, Slow-roasted Crispy Pork Belly with Guava glaze, and Shrimp and Bacon Mac & Cheese. Oh — and they didn’t forget about dessert. Those with a sweet tooth can grab options like Mississippi Mud Pie and PB&J Tarts.
We arrived for our lunch reservation and waited with other guests.
Right now, the Halloween Dine experience is happening, which means characters in their Halloween costumes! YES!
When we stepped inside, we were given a cute spooky postcard…
…which has the characters’ signatures on the back!
When it comes to food, there were a LOT of selections — how do you choose? For starters, there was a nice selection of bread…
…and makings for salad!
There is also a selection of fruit and fruit salads available.
If you like to start a meal for soup, there were several selections, including Chicken Noodle Soup. Now THAT’S comfort food!
The carving station was serving up Herb-Crusted Tenderloin Steak with Horseradish Cream. Yum!
Other entrees are also available like Baked Chicken, Pasta, and Mini Corn Dogs.
But if you don’t eat meat, they have you covered — there are several vegan options, too!
You want sides? There are plenty! Yes, Mashed Potatoes is one of them.
There are also veggie options, for those who don’t want to forget their vegetables!
If you’ve got kids who are picky eaters, the kid’s buffet section should have something to please.
Desserts include Cupcakes, Mississippi Mud Pie (doesn’t that look good?)…
…and the infamous Candy Magic Bar!
The location was previously serving food from a prix fixe menu, but it has officially switched back to the sorely-missed buffets!
Don’t worry — we tasted EVERYTHING and we’ll be giving you a FULL review in a little bit — so stay tuned because that’s coming REAL soon!
Check out these Disney World locations that will also be resuming character dining this year — Cape May Cafe and ‘Ohana.
