To ensure we are equipping our readers with all the information they need, we will continue to report on all travel, safety, and COVID-related news that could impact a Disney Parks visit.
Slowly but surely, more and more COVID-related travel restrictions are being lifted.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention ended its cruise ship monitoring program, and many of the major cruise lines have modified or scrapped their testing protocols altogether. Now, it looks like you may have to jump through fewer hoops when it comes to COVID testing to finally set sail on that Disney cruise you’ve been planning. We’re sharing everything you need to know about the Disney Cruise Line COVID-19 testing changes.
Disney Cruise Line has updated its COVID-19 testing policy yet again, after recently announcing that only guests 12 and older were required to be fully vaccinated against the virus at the time of sailing.
Now, starting on September 23rd, 2022, fully vaccinated guests sailing on the Disney Dream, Fantasy, Wish, and Wonder are no longer required to participate in COVID-19 testing in order to sail. For the Disney Magic, this change will begin on November 7th, 2022.
Guests who are not fully vaccinated will still need to provide proof of negative test taken 1 to 3 days prior to sailing — but won’t be required to take a second test at the terminal on embarkation day.
This change may make it just a bit easier for you to set sail on your Disney cruise — but be sure to check the Disney Cruise Line website for information about your particular cruise before heading to the terminal. Don’t forget to stay tuned to DFB for the latest cruise news and more!

Now they need to get rid of the vax requirement. Seems a little opposite in their thinking. At this point, get rid of all restrictions. The ports need to also stop requiring this vax. If no one is requiring the boosters to sail or enter then the vaxed population who got their shots more than 6 or 7 months ago aren’t any different than an unvaxed person. Enough already with this.

It makes no sense why “unvaccinated” guests are being treated differently when it has been proven that the “vaccine” does nothing to prevent the spread of Covid and there is no way to prove that it lessens the symptons and deaths as covid affects each person differently.

Yay! We have a cruise on September 26. I was hoping they would lift the testing requirements by then.
