Menu changes have been affecting all kinds of Disney World restaurants.

Time to Eat!

From price increases and decreases to menu additions and removals, if you haven’t been keeping up, you might not even realize that your favorite menu item has been altered, disappeared, or changed in price. We recently stopped by Olivia’s Cafe in Disney’s Old Key West Resort to check out their brunch, since that is now an EVERYDAY offering. And while we were there we spotted a BIG menu change.

Take a look at the updated Olivia’s Cafe brunch menu we got when we stopped by on September 1st, 2022. Notice anything new or different?

You may have noticed a NEW addition on the brunch menu with the Banana Bread Pudding, but do you spot anything else that has changed?

We hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this spot’s popular Chicken and Waffles dish (which typically feature features Buttermilk Fried Chicken, Sweet Potato Waffles, Bacon Jam, Fresh Berries, and Maple Syrup) has been REMOVED from the brunch menu.

We spoke to a Cast Member who was ultimately able to confirm for us that the Chicken and Waffles are GONE. 😭

Oh No — Where Have You Gone?!

The brunch menu still features Southernmost Buttermilk Chicken and Mickey-shaped waffles so you could sort of hack your way into eating some kind of chicken and waffles dish, but it won’t be the same.

Disney hasn’t revealed why this particular dish was taken off the menu, but we have a feeling fans of the dish will NOT be pleased it has gone away. Of course, keep in mind that menus can change often so you never know if/when something might pop back up. Be sure to check and see what the situation is like during your trip.
