Believe it or not, rope dropping a ride isn’t always the right option in a Disney park.
If you are set on riding every attraction without Disney’s skip-the-line service Genie+, then rope dropping a ride might be for you. But, for some, grabbing a pumpkin spice latte on Main Street, U.S.A. is a must-do first thing in the morning. If you are someone who wants a slow and peaceful morning in the park, you should consider booking a sit-down restaurant for breakfast to kick your day off. And now, there’s another reason to go this route, because one Disneyland restaurant is adding a breakfast option!
As of today, September 2nd, you can have breakfast again at River Belle Terrace in Disneyland Park! A new breakfast menu popped up on the Disneyland website a few days ago and we’re here now to see if it’s worth your time. It’s been a while since we’ve seen breakfast at this spot, so we’re excited!
The signature entrées include the Mark Twain made with scrambled eggs, applewood-smoked bacon and sausage, O’Brien potato bites and house-baked biscuit, and the Hot Honey Fried Chicken Benedict made with poached eggs, sauteed spinach, Hollandaise sauce, and fresh fruit.
Kids can create their own meals and choose from Silver Dollar Pancakes, Scrambled Eggs, and Seasonal Oats with bacon, potato bites, sausage, or fruit.
There’s also something for your sweet tooth — it’s the Vanilla & Maple Monkey Bread! It’s served with vanilla ice cream, lemon glaze, and berries. How delicious does that sound?
It is possible that you can walk-up to the restaurant, but we highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time so you can guarantee yourself a table.
You know we had to try it out for ourselves! We started off with the BBQ Brisket Southern Breakfast Skillet for $20. It has beef brisket, pimento cheese sauce, avocado crema, and O’Brien potato bites.
Next, we got the Hot Honey Fried Chicken Biscuit for $16. This has poached eggs, sautéed spinach and hollandaise sauce and is served with fresh fruit.
Finally, we finished with the Vanilla and Maple Monkey Bread for $9. This is a monkey bread with vanilla ice cream, lemon glaze, and berries.
We’ll be bringing you a FULL review of breakfast here soon, so stay tuned for our thoughts!
There are a lot of exciting updates coming to Disneyland including the Toontown refurbishment! The land will get a new attraction (Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway) and a new look overall. You can also look forward to the Downtown Disney restaurant refurbishments!
We’ve been taking you around Disneyland trying a bunch of the new Halloween treats, so keep up with DFB for new treat reviews! In the meantime, take a look at the list of all the Halloween treats coming to Disneyland this year.
