Have you been able to keep up with all of the changes around Disney World?
So much has happened around the resort recently — buffets are returning, more character meet-and-greets are appearing, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique has reopened, and the Halloween season has arrived. But there’s still so much more to look forward to this year. So, to help you know what to expect during your next trip, here are 5 things that will be different in Disney World this September!
Disney+ Day
Why will Disney+ Day (September 8th) affect Disney World? Well, for starters, last year brought a “blue carpet experience” for park guests. There were free PhotoPass downloads offered at select spots for Disney+ subscribers, special PhotoPass opportunities (magic shots and props), and festive banners, decorations, decals, and flags over in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
There was also some free merchandise offered, like hats and buttons…
…as well as some unique character experiences.
And, just like last year, Disney+ subscribers will get to enter any of the parks 3o minutes early on Disney+ Day! Of course, you’ll still need valid park admission and park pass reservations. So, if you’re heading to the resort on Disney+ Day, get ready for some unique offerings!

The Crystal Palace Character Dining
That’s right — character dining will return to The Crystal Palace on September 20th! This means that, once again, you can dine with some adventurous pals from the Hundred Acre Wood. They’ll be available for lunch and dinner at The Crystal Palace: A Buffet with Character featuring Winnie the Pooh and Friends.
So be sure to grab a reservation for this character dining experience if you’re visiting on or after September 20th!

‘Ohana Character Dining
Starting September 27th, Lilo and Stitch will be returning to their ‘Ohana Best Friends Breakfast. You can find this character dining experience at ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Resort.
You’ll want to snag a reservation for this one too, as it’s super popular! Oh — and tell them we said “Aloha!”

Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit
Over in EPCOT, you’ll be able to partake in a Halloween-themed Scavenger Hunt — Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit. This scavenger hunt has taken place in Disneyland Resort in the past, but now Disney World guests get to join in on the fun! (Don’t worry, Disneyland Resort will still have their own Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit this year.)
You can catch it during EPCOT’s Food & Wine Festival from September 29th through October 31st (while supplies last).

Halloween
This one may be a bit more obvious than the others, but Halloween will continue to take over the parks during September! That means we’ll continue to see more Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party events take place…
…we’ll probably see more merchandise…
…and we might even see more spooky decorations around the resort!
So, if you’re visiting in September, keep your eyes peeled for more frightening fun around Disney World!
