We’re well into Labor Day Weekend, so where are the crowds?
We were a bit surprised yesterday to see that the 3-day weekend crowds were missing. Following a chaotic and busy summer, we would’ve expected an equally-crowded holiday weekend. So, of course, we were pleased to be met with light crowds. But with Labor Day taking place tomorrow, as well as a sold-out Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, there’s got to be more people in the resort today — right?!
Well…it depends on where you go. We’ll start in Magic Kingdom. This is what Main Street, U.S.A. looked like this morning. Have we ever seen such an empty sight on a 3-day weekend?
How about our view of the Tomorrowland Bridge from the PeopleMover? Where is everyone?!
And there were some more guests over in Tomorrowland, but still — this is not what we’d expect on a 3-day weekend.
And walking into Disney’s Animal Kingdom, we were met with the same thing…minimal crowding.
This continued inside of the park, even over by Harambe Theater.
Although, we saw some more guests crowding over by Mombasa Marketplace.
We saw similar sights over in EPCOT.
There were some light crowds over in the United Kingdom Pavilion…
…while other areas, like the American Adventure pavilion, were much emptier.
So, as you can see, the parks aren’t crowded, but they’re not empty either.
We’ll see what tomorrow brings (fingers crossed that crowds stay the same). And to plan for your next trip to Disney World, check out all of the 2022 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival Booths. Or take a look at all of the sold-out dates for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

Was it lite crowds all day or just in the morning hours…?
