Now that Disney World’s previously complimentary Magical Express shuttle service has ended, you have a few transportation options from Orlando International Airport to your Disney World hotel.
One shuttle option, the Sunshine Flyer, launched in 2022 and takes guests from Orlando Airport (MCO) to their Disney World hotel in buses themed around old-fashioned train engines and passenger cars. Recently, they offered a deal for children to ride for free, and although that sale just ended, Sunshine Flyer prices have changed — and here’s how.
When the Sunshine Flyer first launched, they offered different prices for adults and children for roundtrip and one-way transportation. The prices for adults (per person) were $17 one-way or $34 for a roundtrip, and children’s prices (per child) were $10 one-way or $20 for a roundtrip. For a limited time this summer, Sunshine Flyer offered free trips for children or $16 per adult for all trips, but that deal just ended.
Now, prices have changed — and they’ve actually gone down for adults! Adults will now pay $16 for one-way trips or $32 for roundtrips, and children will again cost $10 for one-way trips or $20 for roundtrips. Note that the children’s prices apply to kids between the ages 3-12, and children 2 and under can travel for free if lap-sitting.
Sunshine Flyer buses include bathrooms and entertainment, and staff members even dress as 1920s rail conductors and engineers, so it’s a unique way to start your Disney World visit!

Nice try, but not as good as when the Mouse used to do it.

I was able to use the Sunshine Flyer last month and was very pleased. The drivers were entertaining and efficient and the ride was comfortable. A big advantage to me was that the “station” was much closer to the elevators/escalators than the Mears area.
