The highly anticipated NEW terminal at Orlando International Airport opens this month, and we’ve already seen many of the new improvements that are coming!
There will be TONS of new restaurants and lots of high-tech upgrades — including automated TSA screening lanes and facial recognition at gates. Now we’re getting more peeks inside this new area of one of the country’s busiest airports!
Orlando International Airport officials let members of the media inside their $3 billion dollar expansion. Check out the video below to see how the progress is coming along!

The new terminal has 15 gates and is designed to serve 10 to 12 million passengers per year. Four additional gates are also planned as another phase of construction on Terminal C.
There will be some innovative art displays in the new Orlando airport terminal — including a 100-foot long, 32-foot tall panoramic screen installation. But what may excite Disney fans most is a brand-new Orlando Airport Disney Store!
Just look at that sculpted castle and chandelier that mimics fireworks above it! Disney has announced its new store will open along with the terminal on September 19th. The store will have LED wallpaper and park icons on its walls.
The new Terminal C will primarily serve passengers flying into Orlando on JetBlue. Stay tuned to DFB for more information on improvements at the airport!

isn’t this a bit grandiose for patrons to walk thru to get to their plane. Are creating a 3 mile walk to get to the gate from where you step off of the shuttle.
