Some big changes are coming to Disneyland Resort!
Splash Mountain is getting a makeover, a new restaurant and store are coming, and Mickey’s Toontown is currently under construction. Toontown is being reimagined with new park areas, a fountain, and a brand new ride. And, we have another update about the FOOD in Mickey’s Toontown!
There will be an ALL NEW food option in Toontown called Good Boy! Grocers.
And, Disney also combined all three of the previous quick service restaurants into one spot — Cafe Daisy.
Good Boy! Grocers will be a farmers market roadside stand with grab and go items, and Cafe Daisy will be a sidewalk table eatery serving up diner classics.
Previously, the area where Cafe Daisy is going to be was home to Daisy’s Diner, Pluto’s Dog House, and Clarabelle’s. But, now they are all combining into one!
We’ll keep you in the loop with any other announcements about this reimagined land, but for now, just know that the land should reopen sometime in 2023.

We do this because it’s important to us as journalists to ensure not only that we give you unbiased opinions, but also that you can trust us to do so since we’re paying our own way. On rare occasions, when we are invited by a company to attend a preview as media, and when we choose to accept that invitation, we will always make you, our readers, aware of that situation. Today, we were invited by Disney to attend D23 Expo. Note that when we attend events as media we are 1) Not required to review that event/food on any of our channels, and 2) Not required to review that event/food favorably. You can always count on DFB to give you a 100% unbiased and honest review of any event that we attend, food that we eat, or beverage that we drink. You can see more in our Disclosure Policy. Looking forward to seeing what the new food will be. The old food in there was so boring and basic!
