D23 Expo ticket holders will be able to get an exclusive look at the Walt Disney statue coming soon to EPCOT! In case you missed it, this special Walt Disney statue is coming soon to EPCOT as part of the park’s big transformation. Below is the concept art Disney has previously released to show what the statue will look like when placed in EPCOT.
The statue, known as the “Walt the Dreamer” statue, will be installed at Dreamer’s Point in EPCOT. And we got to see the actually statue that is coming to EPCOT!!!! Here’s what it looks like!

Dreamer’s Point will be located near the exit of Spaceship Earth, and the statue is a celebration of Walt’s dedication to the future.
Disney shared a behind-the-scenes video of the making of this statue back in 2021, and now we can finally see it finished!
The details are incredible, and we can’t wait to see it in EPCOT.
We don’t know when this will debut in EPCOT but we are hoping to hear more specifics soon!
The D23 Expo officially lasts from September 9th to the 11th at the Anaheim Convention Center in California and we can’t wait to hear all the big Disney news and announcements! We do this because it’s important to us as journalists to ensure not only that we give you unbiased opinions, but also that you can trust us to do so since we’re paying our own way. On rare occasions, when we are invited by a company to attend a preview as media, and when we choose to accept that invitation, we will always make you, our readers, aware of that situation. Today, we were invited by Disney World to attend their media preview of D23 Expo. Why did this make me tear up?
Rich says
Sorry but if you didn’t tell me I wouldn’t know who that was. Just terrible likeness.

Why have a “comment section,” if you’re NOT going to post the comments your subscribers submit!
DFB Gigi says
Hi Holly. When messages are not approved it is for a number of reasons including, but not limited to insensitivity, inaccuracy, language, etc. All comments must be linguistically appropriate for a wide audience, and generally not inflammatory. Another reason could be that we just have not gotten to your comment yet because we receive so many. Thanks so much for your understanding.

To me it doesn’t look like Walt at all. I am sure it’s just me, though…
